I don't need an excuse... everything closed down in Charlotte for the snow yesterday... schools, offices, you name it. No one would think of asking to go out and drive and most sellers wouldn't approve a showing. Besides, if someone asked I'd be telling them I have no intention of putting them or me in harm's way on the roads when public officials have declared a disaster asking people to stay off the roads.

When it's 125 out in the summer, we have early morning hours. Folks who want to tour homes in the heat of the day, there it will have to be a very good reason. We're accustomed to the heat. It's them we're worried about.

I've "called in well" before. I was doing so well that I wasn't concerned about showing up. I had some leverage, pushed the limits, nobody got hurt  (Long ago-non real estate).

No I do not. If weather is really horrible (like the middle of a snowstorm with unplowed roads), then it's not an excuse, it's a reason.

But most of the time, my clients are the ones who don't want to go out in crummy weather. I have said on occasion "pouring rain is a GREAT time to view houses - then we'll know if there are leaks!"

I would never have done that because I didn't feel like going... unless I was actually sick.  Unless the weather conditions are unsafe, I'd be there IF the clients wanted to proceed.

Heck no, never put off what you should be doing today with those folks who spent beaucoup bit coin buying the silver bird pair of tickets to get to your location. Their time is important to not waste. Seller expecting you too so don't bag it  Beuler just because of a few snow flakes. If they are qualified, traipse them to the end of the World and back to get that contract signed. Throw the jeep into four wheel drive and drive with care but don't stay in the real estate harbor missing out on "that's the one". Videos fix the locked door, no one at the curb to see and hear about the place in the meantime...full motion with natural sound. So they do tour lots of places, tool around the community events too. The show and tell must and does go on.
