I utilize them all but, my primary means of communication is still face-to-face or phone calls. I'm old fashioned that way and I believe that will eventually prevail because the internet seems so impersonal to many.

Example from TODAY: I got a call from a past client that he was recommending me to one of he and his wife's friends relocating to Charlotte. I immediately gave her a call but, had to leave a message. 

I got a call back this morning, telling me that several of their friends had referred them to agents and I was the only one who had responded with a phone call. "We're going with you because you actually know how to communicate in a manner other then email or texting!" She told me they liked the 'human factor' in communication and everyone else had reached out to them via text or email.

YES, we are in 2018 but, the 'human factor' is still important - especially when these folks are making the largest financial decision of their lives. Just MHO!

I use any tools available to connect with potential clients.

We use the tools that society puts in front of us, many without much choice, and a few by choice.

I have no idea what the internet of things is or internet of people. I do not understand this chart or what it's supposed to be telling me. 

IoT has been a wonderful buzzword for several years now.  I'm waiting for developers to consider SECURITY before they put out the internet connected TV/lights/fridge/thermostat/front door locks/power meters/....

For now, I'm strictly old school when it comes to my devices (other than phone, Roku and tablet).

My connections are for personal interests.

What I find fascinating is that the internet of everything is positioned between two non-rational lifeforms that don't always use critical thinking.

The Internet is a tool. I still connect with people the old fashioned way; with exception to my Podcast. My Podcast has connected me to many different states, Canada, Australia and South America. TECH IS A GREAT TOOL.

I am not implementing very many of these things because I value my privacy.

It seems everything we have is related to the internet, a computer, -- all our devices are run this way and I believe the future will take it by storm.

We are not using smart lighting yet as we feel we don't need it. Using just about everything else.

bare bones here..... not a techie and everything that's technology based is a frippin challenge.... 

I use them all, some more than others, and it varies by the situation and what others' preferences may be, and what has to be communicated.

Personal connection with our past clients and referrals from them.  

My preference is for face-to-face or phone conversations. But I use TEXT, Email, Social Media (but probably not as fully as I should)

Connecting with past clients is the best marketing tool!
