Our area isn't big on tourism.  We're the area you move to after you get the job and realize that city traffic sucks.

If I lived in your area I might. In my early days of real estate, I had beautiful brochures and stocked the Chamber of Commerce with them. But even then, I had a website that way out produced anything I got from the brochures, so I quit printing them.

I have not but I am glad it is working for you. There's a Tourist Center just 5 exits away from me. Now I want to go by & see what they are doing there!

that's a great suggestion for agents.... but no, I've never done it.... too far to go.... I like my immediate surroundings...

I don't, My company has a a booth at the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and a mjor presence there, but I haven't heard that it generates serious leads to the brokerage.

  I see business cards on the counters at nearby seafood restaurants, mom-and-pop motels.  And of course the magazine racks.

  But it's not my style.

I would have to locate a place in Denver where brochures would be, and doubt we could put anything there.

For us, the local move for people is good enough to generate business.

No I haven't.            Perhaps it's something I'll explore.

No, we don't! I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce, as is my brokerage and it's been years since anything has come of that. I enjoy the educational opportunities that I get from them - about the city - so, I have maintained my membership for 14 years.

I haven't thought of that though my last company provided them with free maps with our branding. Can't say I saw any new business from it.
