-30 has been the tops & I don't want to revisit that moment.

I believe it was my first business trip to Chicago - I was very unprepared in my lightweight London  Fog raincoast.  Brr--- still have the bone-chilling memories -- thirty yearsplus later.  

Something below zero, but can't quite remember how much. But I do remember living in 130+ degrees in the Middle East.

I have no idea.  Below zero but then there is the wind chill factor.

-10 in Salt Lake City.  Was traveling for my old job to Draper Utah (major call center hub) and the auditors I was with wanted to go out drinking.  Had to go to Salt Lake for that.  Man it was cold, but the Mormon temple was a sight to see.

I know it was less than -30 degrees while trekking through the Brooks Range.  The difference I felt once we were below zero was negligible unless a gust of wind caught us. No siroccos in the Arctic.

Nathan Gesner I don't remember the temperature, but Duluth, MN in January was pretty cold. The winds off of Lake Superior were pretty chilly. It was the wind chill factor that got to you.

I'm a warm-weather person dudes. Maybe single digits up in Mammoth, Sedona, Big Bear. Now if you want to talk about 132? Lake Havasu City Arizona.

That is a temperature that is not uncommon where we work at, the people are fine with it but sometimes our equipment gives us problems.

In 1978 when I was pregnant with my first son ... I had to walk to work --- about 6 blocks -- and we had over 1.5 month's of below -50 degrees with the windshield factor.  All my peers teased me and said I was going to have an Eskimo Baby --- Brrrrr -- Baby it was COLD OUTSIDE! 

I really don't know.  I would probably have to look up the record low for this area.

About minus 10.

Columbus Ohio, -20F. Could literally turn a pot of hot water into ice fog.

My LAST cold weather experience was in Chicago gassing up the rental car. The wind blown daggers of cold pierced every piece of fabric I wore. At that moment I decided I was done with this cold crap.

almost every year.. up here it periodically gets to about -40 C in the coldest days of winter... mid-January to mid-February... with windchill, it can get to -60C.... which means schools and buses shut down... and we have a wind chill danger advisory... exposed skin can freeze in a short period of time (a few minutes).   But, with the right clothes, it is all very manageable.

You definitely have me beat for coldest temperature, but I lived in Chicago for a long time where the wind chill could be brutal. I remember one year it was about -24 degrees temp but we had howling winds. I always remember this day because it was so cold that you could see the nailheads in the drywall at my house because they had frost on them!

We hit -20 once although it is rare. Most winters if normal we see a few days in negative single digits in January or early Feb. 

Probably somewhere around -15 or -20. A little further south from Fort Drum, but not really that far!

I think it must have been in Illinois in February one year. Too cold to even remember. Anything below 65 F is really too cold for me now.

I spent a winter in South Korea while assigned to the Marines back about 20 years ago.  Not sure the temperature but I do know the water in my coffee cup was frozen solid by morning!  Know that is not cold but by my Florida roots its close to my extreme!

Double digit negatives but I don't remember what. I know in the teens but it is likely I have been in colder. -Kasey

Minus 41 Celsius, which is about the same for Fahrenheit at that temperature. That was at a similar latitude  to Fort Drum.

It may have been close to 30 below without the wind chill factor. It was damn cold!

I was in college in Houlton Maine in Aroostok county and it was 35 below zero....you needed to breathe through a scarf.... it hurt to inhale that below zero temp....

Can't remember the exact temp but Minneapolis in January.

Connecticut is pretty cold in the winter; in the single digits & teens. I've seen it go sub-zero here. The record is -30's in 1943. Not Siberia-like temps but close enough!

I visited my sister when we were still in college.  She lived in Michigan so I was there during the holiday.  It was really cold and snowy but I didn't pay attention to the temperature.  Also travelled and saw Niagara Falls in the winter.  We must be crazy college kids back then :)

We had minus 5-6 a few years ago. There was a wind too and the wind chill felt like a deep freeze.

Brrr -20 in NJ - which is why I moved to So. California LOL

Next, Jackson Michigan. This time with snow boots, ski jacket, and a hoodie to and from Middle School bldg about 1.5 miles. You lived at the other school looked the same.

-45 in Edmonton one December - not counting wind chill!

Since I was raised in Ukraine, I experienced quite low temperatures and a lot of snow, not in CA. Here when we get 40F we are freezing. 

3  I was in Colorado in November.  I. Was. Miserable. I'm a southern girl and nope nope nope for me ever living in the north.

I have to say -18 one time in Denver!

• 15 degrees Whistler. cold by Maui standards. But I do love to snowboard so no problem.
