Not yet. But I saw a headline on Inman about MLSs not being sure if they will work with Upstream. Didn't read the article. IS it good?

No invitation sent to me.
Could be because of my published evalution of the strategic change Upstream made to reciprocate to Zillow's agreement to exclude listings from brokerages or agents not part of the NAR club.
It is not and will not be the independent public portal allowing agents greater agility in their marketing efforts.
Nothing on UPSTREAM benefits the agents but solidifies the alliance between brokerages, franchises, NAR and associations and the Empire of Evil Intent.
Upstream was envisioned to give agents a means to keep Zillows fingers out of the agents pie. But, as usual, the brokers. franchises, NAR and associations have betrayed the real estate agent and UPSTREAM is just a 'me to' property listing website. I could be wrong. Upstream may have rescinded their intents over the past 12 months, but I've got money that says they have not.
Thoughts? I wonder what being a UPSTREAM Premier agent will cost? Remember the good old days of REALTOR.com?

I'm surprised that there is so much silence about this. Upstream sold itself to Realtors as the BIG data solution to silence or control Zillow, It's not that at all. It is another data collection tool that will not help Real Estate Professionals make more money or close more deals. IT nitty gritty manages who opens lock boxes, how many days on market (hard to cheat with some MLS methods of typo the address to look new on market) it will track and sell the information of all the participants of a transaction. Rather than just "using" your property photographs and narrative about a subject real estate it will compile all the actions during days on market and after close, then sell this information as leads and advertising of course

I heard it referred to as a national MLS (or at least the first step towards one) a year or so ago. No invite in my mailbox either. If Greg Hauge's (StopZillow) site works, that is supposed to be 100% by, for and run by agents.

Hi Caroline,
Another reason I love living and working in a small market. Innovators don't think of coming here ...I get to be the innovator LOL!
Actually it sounds very interesting. I know our local ReMax office does not work with Zillow anymore... not sure if that is a corporate decision.

Caroline,
Share what you learned. I don't like the name Upstream, connotes difficulty getting there, perhaps this is a precursor.

If I did get that invitation it was likely nuked with the other 300 spam emails I get every day.
