Save it in a post, Fred Griffin - as a draft post. When you're through, drop it into the profile editor.

It's simple, click SAVE when your ready to save the draft.
When you want to retrieve it click on the Down Arrow located to the right of your profile pic. That's in the upper left corner of the screen. Choose Drafts from the Drop Down Menu. Click on the draft you want to work on or publish. Oila!

If your new, not many would see it to begin with, so what's the issue with it live and unfinished?

I do not think there is a way while in the profile section to make changes in draft. What you change there either is saved or not. Writing it somewhere else is a good suggestion and copying it over when you have proofed and approve it.

I don't think you can, other than as Debe Maxwell, CRS suggested, or outside AR, say Google Docs

I do not believe the profile can be saved as a draft. Do what Debe Maxwell, CRS suggests ... when done editing the draft ... paste it to the profile.

Writing a draft is a clever way, but saving as a draft does not always work, i take it a step further and schedule it a month out and retrieve it in scheduled posts. Then can delete, re write or edit before the month is up

after thinking about this, I might just write it in Word and then copy and paste it on AR in the profile section..... THAT'S the safest way.

Never thought about it. But now that you ask, it is a good idea to copy it into some document on your hard drive.

I did not think you could save it as a draft in the editor, only somewhere else.
