What is your preferred length?  First of all, I am glad this is NOT in the form of a different question  Answer:  No more than 1 minute

Do you integrate still shots into the video?  No. It does not mean I would not if I saw a compelling reason to do so.

Do you use captions?  Only on still shots.

Do you "brand" the video with your contact information?  Absolutely!!!

Does the video include a "credit" for the entity creating the video?  No. Exception. If the video was done at no charge ... then I would be more than willing to promote them that way.

Any other thoughts?  Yes. Always. Non-Stop.

I let the professional that I hire determine many things including length of video.  We do often brand the video unless it's attached to MLS which often it is not.  No credit to the photographer unless they pay for the advertising however they often put it on their own site and promote it via social media as well and that's welcome.

no credit.... I paid.... I don't want any name on the photo.... I use the still shots in writing blog posts.... "the eye buys"....and if the lot is large and the roofline complex, it's a no-brainer....

Most videos should be under a minute.  Some special properties can have longer videos that should first have a shorter lead or intro video.

I have been using drone photography to show off my vacant land listings. Some of my videos are too long. I recommend no more than a minute and one-half. Some of my land listings are too rugged to walk and photograph.

I usually do both branded and unbranded versions.

I have been including the unbranded versions of the videos in my virtual tours at TourFactory.

2 minutes max, yes on stills integration, no on captions, yes on branding for website ditribution, not for mls use. Since I do my own, no credits necessary. Can't beat the price I charge myself.

I use it all video and still shots.  My photographer adds music and some captions.  He also brands it for me and adds credit for creating the video.

I have only used aerial photography 3-4 times in the last couple of years.  Most my listings do not warrant this.  I usually ask for still photography only, and include them in the photos in MLS.   Sometimes captions if it is tough to see what the views are.    No, have never had the credit to.....

I have not used video for outdoor marketing, but I like when home inspectors do! Also, if I am viewing video, 30 seconds tops. Unless it's a true castle, then maybe 1 minute.

What is your preferred length? 1-4 minutes, depending upon the property. If it's long, I'll often create an abbreviated version as well.

Do you integrate still shots into the video? No

Do you use captions?  Not on videos

Do you "brand" the video with your contact information? I use unbranded in MLS, branded elsewhere typically

Does the video include a "credit" for the entity creating the video? Always - I am not a licensed drone pilot so, I show my aerial videographer's information - it's his liability, not mine, for taking footage if he were to allow his license to lapse.

Good luck! You'll love the response!

I prefer videos under 30 seconds. I do brand and post the videos on YouTube which help to boost the SEO. I won't do drone shots or videos if the surrounding homes or areas don't benefit the sale of the home. i.e. industrial parks, highways - just stick to high quality photos in this case.
