I would first have to check and see what competitors charge.  I do not use aerial photos in my market.

As Kathleen Daniels answered, I would need to do more research.   I have had just one occasion so far where a photographer used a drone for a listing where he felt it was appropriate.

Until I encounter a buyer who attributes their purchase decision to the aerial images I would place no value on them.

However, as a means of demonstrating an agent invests more money on the listing than a competing agent, there could be benefit.

The challenge will be delivering an image offering something of value that is not already available through public resources such as tax authorities, G-earth, G street view and of course the Empire of Evil Intent.

The going rate in my area for aerial images is $250 for a portfolio.

Tony and Suzanne,

Prices differ in different markets.  In our market the drone photographers are licensed pilots and work with photographers.  What is also happening is that there are many stock footage sites where you can purchase some beautiful film much cheaper than it would cost to hire a person.  A

In our market we have several professional photographers who have the FAA license and will include drone photography as part of their package. This usually is around $500 but can be more if the property is extremely extensive.
