No, we are not going to be in the path, just going to see a partial if the marine layer is not around.  I have been informed that you can take a great picture using an iPhone through a telescope...

We bought ours several weeks ago when they were plentiful. Now I hear people are buying counterfeit glasses!

Be careful!! There was a report this morning that retailers are selling unapproved solar eclipse glasses, and using them could be dangerous for your eyes and damage your vision.

I hope they're good ones Belinda!  And no I have not even thought of getting any but if I lived in Denver I would.

I was thinking of ordering a batch of them from bhphoto to give away to people who visited my open house, or somehow use them in a promotion. Maybe, The first 20 who " Like" my fb page get a free set of solar eclipse glasses. Or, sign up for my newsletter and get a free pair of solar glasses. I decided that it probably wasn't worth the effort.

We have bought several dozen and gave them away at the events Wayne spoke at earlier this month. The few that we bought and kept for ourselves turned out not to be approved and we had to buy some last minute at ridiculous prices!

When I was a kid we used two photo negitives put together. And since I still have thousands of prints I was going to pull some out. 

We got ours from the Sweetwater welcome center, along with tee shirts.

Belinda Spillman I would be careful. Even Amazon recalled some Solar Eclipse glasses that were unverified.
