It's much more important to be where your target demographic is. When you're everywhere, there's too much maintenance involved and you tend to attract too many of the wrong people which can waste your time.

If you have time to be everythwere, you probably aren't too busy with your real estate, unless you hire someone to do this for you!

No, in fact the is the BIGGEST mistake Realtors make with social media. Pick 3 you frequent and be consitent.

I do 1.FB, 2.AR & 3.LinkedIN and LI links to (4.) Twitter for me.

For me on social media it is about focus so website, youtube.com, and Facebook.

No I don't. I try to make myself known on the 'biggies'. I notice that many people try to have bios on them all. It's not worth the time.

At onne point yes, but now no! Find a niche and develop it! 

If I tried to be everywhere, I'd never get anything done. We're on FB, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Active Rain, Google Plus, and Word Press, and it requires a LOT of effort to keep up with it all!

AR is more than enough for us - and sometimes that's too much - although we continue to get listings from the general public from our AR presence - but nowehere near the amount we did 10 years ago when AR was much smaller...

No, I do not.  I do not attempt to be all things to all people.  I focus on my niches.

I subscribe to the niche theory and though some of the places you mentioned are important I think focusesing on blogging and a good website are more important.

No, but syndication sometimes takes us places we don't really need to be.

I do not - in fact I have cut down my SocMed involvement significantly and better off for it!

I did at first.  I even created an account on Ello!  Now I think it's more important to pick a few key ones and be active there.  I'm on my website and 5 social media sites that are mostly on "auto pilot" for postings and such.

I am focusing on postcards in selected areas, blogging, social media, and Youtube.
