I use Twitter for real estate marketing. So far, I've not been able to pin-point one sale from Twitter. FB is a totally other story though!

I tweet my Active Rain blogs and use it for exposure. More eyes equals more leads

I have a twitter account to round out my social media profile... have never expected to actually get leads from twitter.

I don't actually Tweet for leads, as much as to maintain a presence. 

No, Twitter to me is quick communications, posting blogs and events. The business comes from WHAT I post, not Twitter.

I have 11k+ organic followers on twitter and almost daily post something about my business or my community, yet, I did not get any lead strictly from Twitter. But again, business is a combination of few networks.

It's more for greater online presence rather than 'leads'.

We feed the twitter account directly from facebook and it is strictly marketing. We don't get leads from twitter, but our seller clients are appreciative that we use it. Facebook does generate leads, however, as Debe Maxwell, CRS says.

Twitter is not my thing but the President loves it.

I post to Twitter and Facebook to maintain a presence but it doesn't really bring me any business that I can specifically point to.

Never got a lead - just some traffic

I link my ActiveRain posts to Twitter -- I have never had anyone contact me and say they "found" me there but I do hear "I found you online" and I can usually trace the source back to AR.

Our real estate commission has requriements that must be in the original twitter characters so I use it sparingly for local events. Those $500 fines can be costly per occurence.
