There will be a community breakfast, a parade and family activities in Kentlands, our home community within the City of Gaithersburg, MD.

That has changed over the years. I used to DJ a huge after party for the Redwood City Parade, which was one of the biggest in The Bay Area on The 4th of July. Then when Wyatt was little, it was all about him and what he wanted to do. These days, it's a nice bonus day off...laying low down incognito...with my bride if she's not flying for work.

No kids for me but that sounds delightful and does bring up memories.

Hiding in the mountains? No way, that is where everyone is! Camp the week before and the week after 4th of July weekend but the weekend of is crazy busy. I like staying put, bbqing and eating on our back porch.-Kasey

Visit a friend in Safety Harbor, or our once a year. brat-fest. Then off to the city fireworks within walking distance.

No fireworks except what I can see of the public offering! Did enjoy doing some of my own when space allowed!

I'm here at the beach....Cape Cod...Dennisport MA.... three bedroom ranch on the oceanfront.... step off the deck and you're in the sand....

hmm single favorite I suppose is doing something with friends.. which usually includes a picnic or bbq and sometimes fireworks.

My favorite is sitting at the beach watching fireworks.  Since I'm back in Fort Worth I'm happy attending events as long as I'm with family & friends.

Getting caught up on work or house projects.  This year I have a new dog on order (rescued from a very high kill shelter in Texas) and a new car!  I'll be learning the car (I pick it up on the 3rd) while waiting for the puppy!

No fireworks for me and I do not even like them. My hood is popping with fireworks almost every night since kids started graduating....

We like avoiding the crowds but getting to a high spot and watching the sky light up.

Good morning Nathan.  I'm staying at home, watching the TV and have an adult beverage

Nathan Gesner - it gives me a mid-year break to regroup and rewrite my goals.

At some point, happy hour starts meaning a one hour nap. Since bombs are bursting in air courtesy of the neighbors, a nap is out of the question. So, I spend my time listening to Led Zepplin. 

We will be spending time with part of our family and grand kids at a resort..did this last year and had so much fun!

We don't have a parade just big fireworks events and private bbqs. We change it up each year.

Hot dogs on the grill.  That's mine.  

I'll take escaping to the lake, which I plan to do!! I hope to do a little water skiing, cooking out and enjoy the fireworks!

Mine would be going to the beach, enjoying the sun, sand and surf.
