So, by comparison, Real Estate is an 7.5 but on it's own it's a 9.5 because I don't just sell houses. I have a podcast, I've been published, interviewed and won awards,  I run networking groups, I train other agents and I interact with my sold clients socially. My career is what I choose to make of it, so anything less than 10 is on me to improve.

I'll go with an 8.  I love the clientele but some of the crap I've put up with from unscrupulous Brokers and Agents to get to wher I am today has been very painful. If I had to do it over I would have started planning on a career as a brain surgeon back in my school days.

Over the span of my 30+ year, it fluctuated from a 0 - 10.  Mostly it was in the 8 range.  I loved the profession but there were things I didn't like about it... such as doing Open Houses and being away from my husband in some evenings and weekend days for showings.  The lack of work ethic on the part of others involved in the transactional process also frustrated me.
