We figured out that most of the stuff on the test we never need.  Then 13% figure out what they actually need to know and do it.  The other 87% go poof!

After taking CCIM classes nothing is hard about residential real estate math.

Keeping track of the number of sites that will do the math for you! Seems to be infinite!

I thought my answer was just fine.... real estate math is not difficult... new construction estimating requires patience, but it, too, is simple....

Actually, I answered that question nicely the first 10 times.

There is no difficult math anymore thanks to mortgage widgets, etc. There's a program that will figure it all out for you.

There are just so many things on the web or HTML that I've had to implement & figure out. Just go for it. 

Doing math has never been an issue for me... explaining math to the mathmatically challenged. That's another issue ;-)

We never found it hard,  we figured ROI and IRR (Internal Rate of Return) on our super duper HP calculator.  A

Clients want 100% of commission agent claims she  is entitled.

Investment calculations drive me bonkers - I think it's because I'm so intuned to general real estate (re-sales and new construction) that I just don't do it enough to do it without thinking about it!

There are so few math questions on the exam so I say if they study and know everything else there is no meed to sweat any of the math as they can miss all of them and still pass.

There are a few many agents have difficulty with because they seldom if ever use them - most have to do with investment calculations or commercial income calculations

Of course all agents can get their commission calculated with no problem LOL

The last thing was biting my tongue and not saying what I was thinking to an escrow officer that insisted a cloud on title was not a cloud on title. She had some big@ss title to go along with her inability to know and do her job.

I liked my answer as well. Math is not difficult. These days their are computer programs and calculators built into web sites. We had to do all that by hand. We also use to pre qual our buyers which is rarely done anymore. New agents have it easy except of they need to do it old school, some cant as they were never taught
