I do a monthly newsletter but, it only goes out to past clients now. We're strongly considering quarterly newsletters now. We get responses from them - and often - but, just worry that our clients will eventually tire of the monthly ones.  We are still up in the air about them until the end of this quarter!  

We do use MadMimi though.

If done correctly with a compelling message, yes...

They likely work well for the vendors who sell them.  I don't even know if I can count the number I receive on a daily basis.  I haven't ever used the service.  

Well, it does not work with me or for me, but since it is used by so many businesses, it is definitely working. 

I do not appreciate them (send them to spam) and sparingly send them by saving them for only very special situations.

We have found these to be a great way to expose a listing to other agents across our state at an affordable price. Our sellers do really like it.

I have obviously but I don't know anyone that has ever sold a house off of that 'spam'. Just the other day I was livid that agents are sending me things for lake houses.

I have bought based on email flyers, happened just recently. If the flyer points out the positives on why I might need something...I just might bite.

I use them judiciously. I've noticed that when I use them that way, showings often increase a bit right after they have been sent.

1)  It depends upon the recipient.

2)  Whether I would buy depends on if the product or service is of interest.

Richie Alan Naggar - not sure! I am not a big fan of circulating the eFlyers online. I do post my listing flyers here in ActiveRain and on Facebook Ads.

    Hi, Richie.   Sour grapes...  I get a dozen or more real estate flyers, "see my new listing", price reduced, this property now on market, etc. every day.   99.9% of them get deleted without ever being opened.

Richie Alan Naggar I use them for commercial real estate as a way to keep other brokers aware of our listings. Most commercial real estate brokers do not belong to the MLS.

E-flyers work if they are locally emailed and specify something that is extraordinary about the property that needs to be spelled out.  Incentives to bring the buyer to the property would be a good to use for enticement.  But the best way to draw attention to a property is to call 10 Realtors that have SOLD in the community as they may have interested parties that would be interest in the home.  Speak with 10 neighbors on both sides of the house.  Face to face is still the best way of doing business.  

I never sent them when they were popular.  In my office, none get into our mailboxes, they are not allowed.

Honestly I think they used to work more before it was a flood of them.  I barely look at them and trash most because I have so many come to me.  But, to answer your question, yes, I think they do work and I would buy a product from them if it was something I had been looking for and I actually looked at the flyer.  I don't enjoy the large amount of junk email I get, however, so I probably don't see most that are even sent to me these days. -Kasey

Depends on my need for the content of the flyer.

To other agents?  No.  I mark those as spam and report them to their provider's abuse URL/email (when they have them, many don't).  I imagine I've gotten a few local office's mailchimp and constant contact accounts shut down.

I do not send email flyers. When I get one the first thing I do is unsubscribe. That might put me in the "no" category ... they do not work.

Only to the extent of responding to requests.  I despise the use of unsolicited email flyers being mass mailed.

Without a doubt email flyers work.

Have a purchased as a result? Yes.

For example I purchased Filmora because of their willingness to inform me of their product, which I need and use weekly.

And, I do like to scan the spam bin to observe what other marketers are doing. By analyzing why I didn't read their flyer I can make sure I don't make the same mistake.

Of course there are many parts to a successful email flyer campaign. They ALL have to work.

I send out to my database and I have closed deals off email flyers that way..At one point, I was consistent..For the last few months, I have slowed down..

We sure get them from some far away agents thinking we have a buyer for them that are directional beamed to every agent, broker in the land. Use the paper kind with 20 properties each on them for hand outs, to show FSBO's and expired listing sellers with sold stamps on ones that you sell. Place them at the tourist information centers statewide, use them to put at restaurants, motels in your area. Now those kind work.
