Good for you to tell it like it is!

I'm curious as to who wrote the email: a member or the public? If it was a member, ignore it as I doubt we're your target audience. Also, why worry about features: no one would recognize a gold star other than members!! Write what will attract your investors and don't waste your time on what others think Scott Godzyk

I just left a comment and you are to be commended for taking that listing.... "someone needs to do it" and you need to market it as it is.... that's your job... your commenter needs to understand that... not every sight is one of a luxury home....

It was clear in the title. Nobody has to click on it if they aren't ready to read about what is in the title. That is pretty gross though, ;-) Kasey

Respectfully (but since you asked) I glanced the titlet this morning and elected not to open it.
I figured it was going to be gross or a waste of time, so I read others that were enriching. What were you hoping to gain with that title and subject matter? Seemed like poor judgment. But, we all fall prey to poor judgment...so no judgment here...just my comments.

It is disgusting but you're getting noticed. If you're not spreading violence and profanity, I say tell it like it is. Doesn't hurt people to know your job isn't just having fun looking at pretty houses.

As I said there, there should be health codes upheld & the LA should have taken care of it.

You'll find an audience for anything you write. And many more will be turned off by it. Pick a topic: Religion, politics, art, sexuality, sports, bodily functions.
Write what you need to and let the audience sort it out. There is such a thing as bathroom humor.

Really?! I briefly perused your Blog, and it was not (in my opinion) 'too gross' for any time of the day. I never imagined that you could or would write a Blog that was even close to that description, so of course I had to go over and see. I agree it's tough to get folks to take the time and make the effort to read Blogs on some days, but from your style that I have seen in Q & A's and Replies and Comments Scott Godzyk, that would not be you.

Actually this is a question YOU must answer.
If you are OK with following the lowest of society into the common language that is VULGAR (definition #1) then go with it.
However, some say real estate agents are professionals and have some club rules that can be ignored if one has the backbone.
For me, vulgar language (Definition #1) is not that which I want to be associated.
Now, the suggestion of vulgar, without the performance, can be a marketing tactic that will attract exactly that population.
