There are many moments in real estate that can be described as "best" but there's nothing quite like a sincere thank you from a client.  Size is rarely a part of the scenario.   

We have had numerous appraisals involving several hundred thousand acres.  Lots of work but a great thrill with months of adrenalin filled work for the entire crew.

A large land transaction.

I sold a 82 unit building for 4 million. That was my biggest single sale 

I'm with Michael Jacobs there are so many "good moments in real estate that can be described as "best" but there's nothing quite like a sincere thank you from a client!"

Just like with bidding wars...it's not always about the 'highest' - it's more often about the 'best!'  

I found a piece of land for a developer, sold that to him and contracted the builder to allow me to sell the 10 homes when completed. The cumulative total was the biggest deal.  

The best has to be finding a first time homebuyer the perfect home, winning a bidding war, smiles and tears of joy flowing at Closing, then seeing them a month later in their new home - absolutely giddy about their home, neighborhood and lifestyle!

The best moments when you list the elderly widow's home who trusts you to guide the way and you find the perfect young buyer couple who hug the seller at the closing. That is the bonus.

Price tag? Smoothness of transaction? Emotional impact of transaction? The coolest part of real estate is that their are SO many options to define biggest and best.  :)

I'd have to say that 8 contracts in a week was a total rush. 12 closings in a month. 

Biggest sale is around 800K only. Not many of those around in my area. Wish I could elevate my sales price but it just doesn't happen.

There have been many BEST moments. And then another comes along.

I haven't had a real big one yet. I'm still waiting.

As a commercial broker, in a long forgotten past life, was in the headlines for the largest office building sale in county history at that time.

Obviously many sales by others since that time make this price point mostly irrelevant.

A multi-family sale.

  The best moment?  Having 30 agents and the broker from my Coldwell Banker office attend my wedding!  (I divorced CB a couple of years after that; my wife and I are still together 31+ years later).

My best moments are when a very appreciative client recognizing it all comes together because of my hard work and they are so thankful and say it.

A sale of $357,000 ad a buy at $650,000   same people same day

What put me on the map - received a multi-million $ commercial listing from A T& T for one of their buildings here my first year in business.

Marketed it heavily and got 3 offers within 2 weeks!

Closing on my husband's very expensive spec house just as the market was going into the recession was the biggest sense of relief I have experienced.

Helping friends out.

The first day I got my license and I sold my first house and got a listing.

I don't bring up the past; only look towards the future.

Selling a home I built for one of my clients who had health problems.  Got them out of a financial jam.

every new subdivision was an exciting time for me.... each was different.... some larger than others but still exciting...

Best moment in my career was when my father (who is my broker) told a long time client of his that I would be handling a large transaction for them since Dad was going to have surgery. At the time it was a huge task for me to make sure I did everything right and no errors where made. Looking back it also gave me the belief in myself that I could do it and do it well. 

The best moments in my career are when we close.  Buyers and sellers have achieved their goals and are happy to be moving in, moving on, moving out. To be a part of that process brings me great joy.

There are many biggest moments in my real estate career, but as I look back, it's never been about the sales price being biggest or commission being the largest.  It's usually working with a fantastic and appreciative client.

The best moments aren't from the size of the contract but when we make people happy.

The best moments probably have been with my first time buyers, they are so appreciative and are in heaven to have their first home!
