Probably does, but I don't really know. Have never paid attention to time share properties.

Yes, the state has put themselves in a position of being an accomplice in these transactions/crimes.

Trades in real estate require a real estate license unless there is an exemption in the law in my jurisdiction. I have not specificially looked into time shares but you can always contact the regulator in my jurisdiction if you are interested.

I'm not sure, I never was offered to sell one. I'd need to verify it with my broker( if liability insurance cover such).

I think so?? I have never been involved in selling those, so actually I don't know. We have some fractional ownership in the more resort areas, which is what I actually was thinking. But time shares, honestly, I have no idea. -Kasey

Tennessee requires a special time share salesperson license. This type of agent cannot sell regualr real estate, just time shares at the place where they are registered to sell.

Paul,
Our state requires a license to sell cemetary plots, and although I am not 100% sure, they probably do. A

Paul S. Henderson, CRS, REALTOR®, No special license required here in Virginia. If you want to see if it is required in your State, I found this web site listing all States:

You can sell direct for the builder as an employee without one. But if you are independant or on commission than you need a license here in NH

Good question. Likely so but not absolutely certain. I never had any interest(personally or professionally) in time share ownership or sales.
