I would leave 'current' pictures Bob "RealMan" Timm, as they truly represent that area in ND, where the Listed home is.  People looking there would know that snow comes and goes, and can last into May.  I think your pictures look fine, and would not up-date pictures until it's Summer with no predicted snow storms - and then if it is still on the market, I would do the green grass pictures.  I would not do a 'redo' just based on that one person's comment.  HA!

List going light on the exteriors if snow and add when the green grass shows up. It is never once and done with images. Rotations to make the inventory fresh and looking shiny, like a new listing works best. We all market our listings, communities better than our competition in our local zip codes right?

I get where you are headed with this question ;-)

Not in Boise, but in the Sawtooth National Recreational Area where I worked at a summer camp we sometimes had snow the first week of campers in June.  Made for a fun "summer" camp - especially the swimming in the mountain lakes part of it, lol!

Leave the green pictures you have, but if they were snowy pictures I'd say leave those too :-)  Have a great week Bob "RealMan" Timm. -Kasey

I'll reshoot the outdoor shots when we've moved on from last season. I prefer summer shots too, they are just better. If there is a pool then I really need to get my hands on some summer shots. Sometimes the owner has some recent photos of the property in summer. If so I'll use those regardless if it's snowing out. What I won't ever do is mix summer & winter shots of the outdoors.

I got a couple of those comments too when we had a March blizzard and the home goes under comntract a week later and closes 3 weeks later, the pic still had snow in it. Oh well. If it was July 4, i would be worried.

Photos should depict the current condition, true picture and image of the property to the best of your ability that is.  If the grass is green one day and snows the next day...leave it until you know the snow is gone, then take a good photo.  I'm not a fan of seeing those bars in the photo so maybe one without that distraction is best.  Interesting how everyone has an opinion of what others are doing...right!
