I'm not opposed to thinking outside of the box, but I don't see any reason to have an Uber driver drive us around for showings. I'm able to drive, chat with them and chew gum!   lol

Peter Mohylsky How about if you use one of their driver less cars. Then you wouldn't have to worry about someone else hearing your confidential client discussions.

The problem with that is, another party is privy to your conversation. I would not like that.

Maybe if you had your own chauffeur, but not an Uber driver.

I'm with Candice A. Donofrio - Confidentiality is the issue with having another party in the car.

I would only consider this if I didn't have my own car but that is not likely to happen since I have two. I want to be in my vehicle.

No way -  I'm never sure what kind of car the person will have and honestly I don't want a stranger listening in on any conversations that should stay private and confidential.

    What about liability insurance?  Will your umbrella policy handle a civil suit if the Lyft or Uber driver is in a crash?  Or will Uber / Lyft's insurance cover it?

Private airplanes.  Uber is way to cheap for high end. Limo will not cut it.

I have not and I would not. My clients are in my car while I drive to showings. We have plenty of time to chat during the process.

I've heard many horror stories about Uber drivers!!! in my office, we don't drive with anyone in our cars...they meet or follow us....period....

I think it's a great idea, albeit a bit expensive.

I am a fan. In some areas of L.A. it is extremely difficult to park. It is cheaper to take uber or lift ( parking fee can be often more expensive than uber fee)

That just says to me "Hey, I can't afford a car"  Uber isn't cheap either.  You would be better off hiring a towncar from a local limo company and having a real chauffeur drive you around.

I did have my first buyer show up in an Uber. I would not have anyone drive me around on showings. But this was a relocation buyer who did not want to rent a car or depend on me for theor taxi service.

I don't think it's a benefit in my market.  If I was selling apartments in NY, that might be a different animal. Won't fly in rural Texas.
