No credit cards for me. Just one debit card.

Those store accounts are usually backed by one of the big banks (Chase, Deutsch Bank, Citi). The rates will be loan shark 30%. No, thank you.

I don't open those type of charge accounts.... I have Am Ex, Visa, MC.... that's all I need....
I don't use store credit cards. I know for a fact what having a ton of credit cards can do to your credit score...
We don't like debt and only use three cards which we pay off every month.
I just say "No Thank you".
I do use their credit cards..interest rates are horrible. I use Master card..dropped American Express because No one wants them when you are traveling overseas. That's fine with me..we pay it off every month anyway.
I haven't done this, William Feela. I pay my credit cards off monthly, so the question has never even been on my radar. Good to know!
Nope, because I always say no. Who needs more charge cards? I don't care what the interest rate is because I have no desire to get another card.
No, because I am select and don't open many accounts and I never intend to carry a balance and pay the interest. I use credit cards for the rewards and convenience.
I don't ask because I'm not interested in getting their card in most cases. I have some credit cards with such great rewards that it pays to use them.
I don't hold any store credit cards.
No, I would never take out any kind of revolving charge card because I have always heard they do not help your credit at all. Don't know if that is true or not, but no store credit cards for me. I use credit cards because I don't use debit cards any longer due to so much fraud and because I like getting points for all my purchases. Since I pay my balances off monthly, it is a win/win.
It's best to pay them off right away if you have them. Often you can only get discounts in the store if you have one of their cards, so it's good to have them if you don't accumulate the debt at those usurious rates.
Well that's ridiculous - 29.9%. Not happening on my watch! No bills are my kind of bills.
William Feela No and I never ask for their card.
Nope. It doesn't even get that far. I have a Visa, Debt Card and American Express. That's all I ever need.
I have enough credit cards so no I always say no. BUT my wife always wants one!
Yes & it's pretty hilarious like you mention. I can't see any benefit even if they are giving stuff away free.
No. I pay my cards off in full each month. APR is not a concern.
The department stores have the same rate. And I don't want another charge card. A
No I don't as I the major credit cards and don't need any more than them.
William, I always ask and rarely find one less than 18%. It can be brutal when you're not paying attention.
Nope... I never ask, 'cause I don't open them.
I don't use store credit cards. I do use some loyalty cards where you can get some coupons and free things.
No, since I have no interest in their credit cards.
Nope, not "interested". I limit the number of cards I have and need
I don't use store cards.
No. I don't care what the rate is ... I do not want the card. A simple ... no thank you generally takes care of it. There are some that will say ... you will save an additional "x" on this purchase ... to which I say ... No thank you.
I do not know how people pay those rates. The only interest I pay is on my mortgage.
My Visa works everywhere
As with drugs... I just say "NO" !
I don't carry any of these, nor do I carry a balance, so the rate would not be important.
I don't pay attention, as I don't use those cards or take those offers.
No, just throw them out. Walmart sends me a request several time per week.
I have never asked and never signed up. I am surprised at the rate.
No. I avoid consumer credit.
I do not since I don't open anyway - I have opened a few last year and my husband went bullistic!
William Feela - I don't. I use only couple of store cards - to be on a safer side.
I don't open cards specific to a store. I have a great card that gives me a good return on ALL purchases and I stick with that.
I do and it is very high. So, it is better to pay them off till that high interest kicks in.
No I never ask William Feela as I never open one of their accounts
I dont ask, I just say no thanks. I have never opened a store credit card before.
No to credit cards...
