Lots of rain... so much overnight that it woke me up... but nothing worse than that, thank heavens.

Yep, normally I can brag on SD's weather (75 & Sunny) but we've had flash floods, heavy rain and 40-50 mph wind storms the last 2 weeks on and off and most of the weekend.

I have been watching the weather news this morning and my heart just goes out to everyone affected.

We have a wind advisory and quite a bit of rain forecast for today, but nothing like what others have experienced. Still, the power keeps flickering off and on, although no worries here...we have a whole house generator, so no concern on that front, however, we are surrounded by lots and lots of big trees, so hoping they all stay upright.

We've had over 10 weeks of rougher than usual weather in my area.  As far as real estate it slowed down buyers and has also highlighted water intrusion and roof issues in homes!

Not this past week, but the weekend before we had a few inches of snow.  Nothing like the tornadoes in the South.

No, we were actually pretty nice. Unfortunately, my entire family of five was sick so we sat around and read, watched TV, slept, and felt generally useless.

Well it's been a bit rough for about three weeks now. It snows, then rains, then snows. I feel like I'm living in Washington state. We haven't seen the sun hardly at all in about three weeks. 

OH YES!  Rains, hail, very brief snow (something we've not seen since the 80s!!!!!!!!!), mud slides, floods all the stuff that comes with 1.4 to 2.5 inches of rain in a 24 hour period, with some absolutely intense rains.  Made for some beautiful rainbows today though that I posted on my company InstaGram and FB accounts.  Have to say, I had the most comments on those of any post I've done!

Rought weather?  No.  We did get a lot of much needed rain which continues this morning.  Amen.

We had quite a bit of rain.  My hair got wet.  I will survive.  Thank you for your concern.  

We experienced milder than normal for this time of year,  a bit of rain and fog, but I can handle that.. much better than frigid temps, snow and ice.  But this was only a teaser of things to come, we still have at least two more months of winter weather to come.
