I would say it's certainly the best way to get the most people in the door by having great quality photographs.  I am not a fan of some professionals who tend to over edit and leave buyers disappointed with the real thing.

Yes Justin. I guess that many agents haven't figured that out. Just this week I was looking at some interior shots of new listings that came up & most of the pics looked like an explosion! Agent didn't tell owner that someone was coming?

Oh, while I'm here, I'll just take some photos? not.

Absolutely!  As Barb (Barbara Todaro) says, the eye buys and many of us have proven that over and over again when taking on listings that belonged to other agents who used their phones for their photography!

As my friend, Barbara Todaro says, "the eye buys." And as Raymond E. Camp has said so well, when the photos are bad, it's a bye, bye and not a buy.

That is a great photo and i so agree. I see so many agents post teh front picture as a door, a kitchen or yard. They are scaring away buyers before they can even get to love the home

Good pictures will get people interested in the home, and bad pictures will do the opposite. However, good pictures can be misleading. I drove by a home we were looking at in Tennessee, and while we liked the house, the surrounding homes were in terrible shape, and you couldn't see that in any of the outside pictures.

Excellent photos are extremely important.  That said, though, I've seen some homes so well presented that the potential buyers were disappointed when they saw the real thing.

Some Realtors and photographers are in love with ultra wide angle lenses. Yes, they make quite interesting shots, but they distort and often misrepresent the home. A good photographer will know when to use a wide angle lens, and more importantly, when not to use it.

You are the one as a real estate professional who starts with a blank white computer screen to set up the shots. To snap, edit, decide which 36 or whatever limit which means some don't make it. The lead one is everything to breadcrumb to others and the engagement. Wide, interesting, clear, helpful images without cartoon distortion rooms or filtered to the point with unrealistic colors that look fake, gaudy. A full motion video is even better because they can open house on demand right now and come in from the curb Mr Buyer even if it is 10:30 at night and pouring rain. No delay. We can help you right now! Order up three houses to go, sure thing. Two senses, using the ears too with audio details about property and area is what buyers want, that get results.
