I can perform under pressure but I choose not to - I'm a professional and understand that there need be no emergencies in Real Estate!  I learned years ago that no one performs at their best under pressure; they simply do what they can, with what they have, at the time.  It is the same as multi-tasking.  It was the buzz word back in the 80s and we now know better.  Don't get me started on "Stress Management" either!!!  We're not to learn to manage it, but to do away with it completely

Pressure comes with life - Like it or not, I've learned to focus on what's important and follow the plan ...

I do it well.  Make a plan and follow it.

I work best under pressure and always have. No strategies...it's my style... I can get very focused, very quickly.

I get so much more done when I'm under pressure. The last few days have been a perfect example. Just do one thing after another, by order of importance or what I want to achieve. Today, finally, I took a few hours for a family outing after 5 days of jamming up to 14 a day - well, that includes AR time at night.

I actually work better under pressure than not. I keep a list of what needs to be done and add to it or delete as needed. I like the thrill of seeing how much I can balance...to a point

I don't know exactly what strategies I use, but I do very well under pressure.

I actually work better under pressure because it forces me to priortize the most important things first and put aside those things that can wait.

I had a situation just two days ago regarding a property scheduled to close today.. Buyer was in a frenzy.. but I calmly made some calls, did what needed to be doen to satisfy the lender... and got the job done..

I work very well under pressure.  I don't let other people's problems become mine.  I know the difference between crisis and inconvenience.  I don't worry about things I have no control over.

Actually quite a few people need pressure to function and create it too. I actually thrive on handling multi-issues as it fully activates my skills bank

After years of blowing my top, I now pause and count to three of five and then move on! Makes things so much easier!

Very well, you just have to keep your top money making tasks at the top of the list. Do not worry that something won't get done - worrying takes away needed energy.

I get better as the heat gets turned up. The key is to be calm, patient and complete each task 1 by 1

I haven't found a lot of pressure in my real estate career - but when it's there, I handle it well. Being proactive seems to work well at getting ahead of problems/stressful situations.

I just deal and keep moving forward one step at a time.

There are times, you just have to get out for a walk to clear the head.

I seem to work through pressure.  My life has been a pressure cooker having grown up in Detroit in the 50's & 60's, Army, Liquour Business, wife, kids, real estate it all teaches to worth through pressure and thrive.

When necessary we jump inot the fray and get the job done. Pressure is everyday but whether we 'buy' in to it is up to us.

I do some of my best work under pressure... but I prefer to not have to work under pressure.  I do use a strategy of listening to "Under Pressure" by Queen (the original version, not the new David Bowie one).

My years of flying planes has gotten me used to working under pressure.

I think pressure is a good thing!  Makes me more efficient.

I work well under pressure though I don't like to wait until the last minute because I like time to review and tweak. It is time blocking by force if you wait until the last minute.

IN real estate, pressure usually means one of two things.

1. a buyer or seller or client has their knickers in a bind. 
Listen and be the adult. When the emotions of others rise, they need a calming influence. Seeing no reaction makes their issue clearly silly.

2. Somebody dropped the ball.
Don't react. Understand the solution, the requirements, communicate and execute. You can fire folks later.

Many operate with counter intentions. The believe themselves super crisis managers and for some unexplainable reason, they are always in crisis.  Don't allow others to influence the higher way  a situation can be handled.

Pressure, what is it? In most cases it is artificial.
