I take mine only online. CAR just offered free 45 CE hours renewal. That is very generous of them. 

Both - depending on the offering time of the classes.  I do take my broker update in person every year though.  The electives, I often take online.

In person at our Board as often as possible. Online as a last resort.

 Online.  I do get some hours of credit for classes that I take at our Board.

I actually had great luck this year on-line with TheCEShop.com.  One of the electives was about maximizing your sphere, written by an old ActiveRain blogger.  Learned a bunch!

For credit, I usually take courses online but I still attend some courses that interest me in person but without credit.  

In class for some and online for others. I have licenses in two non-adjoining states!

Absolutely online, on my own time, at my own convenience, without having to get dressed and drive somewhere.  No offense to every real estate agent out there, as it does not apply to all, but frankly, it's a lot of effort to get to a class and listen to a bunch of anecdotal stories about others' adventures in real estate.  Trust me, we all have the same stories. I'm there to learn, not be entertained.

Tried the online program, I'd rather sit in the class.

We don't have a choice for RE CE.  It is required to be online CE via the regulator's website.

I like some of both and totally depends on my availability and the course topic.

In class always. I can ask questions that way and it is far more interesting that reading something online.

I prefer to take mine online, rather than sitting through a class going at the pace of the instructor.  I can get through the course online at a much faster pace, and all in the comfort of my home..

The easiest way possible...

Online.  I can do the coursework any time of day or night ... it is quiet and I have no interruptions. 

I like the interaction of in class but often do my Ce online to save time.

My company provides them free in a class, so I usually do it that way.  On a couple of occasions I have done online and I prefer doing it that way.

I like both options.  The classroom setting allows me to meet new agents and learn new things during the class discussions.  But I take my CE courses for my VA license online.  That helps me strengthen my memory and retention skills when taking the final exams for each course.

Recently I have taken them online. I like classes, but they rarely seem to work into my schedule and you can't beat the convenience of anytime, anywhere online classes. 

I prefer online classes because I learn better through self-study. But I sure enjoy networking.
