I worry more about the lack of security/protection some of the people I communicate with have. The folks who will still click on links and attachments they're not expecting, and can't tell a fake bank card site from the real thing. They are more dangerous than hackers. Hackers are the devil we know. Sleeping sheeple are like Billy Idol in the kitchen in the White Wedding video. LOL

There is so much I don't have control over. I use extreme caution... never clicking on random links, and keeping my own security software up to date.

I think that crazy hackers are just a fact of life these days. I have a company I really like taking care of my web site, and I have more faith in them than in myself to stay on top of it.
And privacy is a long inoperative concept.

I don't subscribe to being paranoid or give weight to conspiracy theories.

I was going to say NO, then I reminded myself of all the fake emails I been getting from hackers posing as bank institutions.

In my analytics, there are many Russian comments, so know they are cruising around!

well I've been a victim of identify theft so I'm pretty paranoid on the subject. However I feel my site is pretty secure and it would take a computer about a million years to crack any of my passwords and I don't put but one credit card # on line and it has a rather low limit for that reason.

I just had fun a few days ago: I opened by computer just to find out that everything was whipped out from my mac. I never had that happened before.

Greg Cremia - stay safe! Do not reveal a lot about you. Hackers are out there. Protect yourself.

Me specifically, no. People in general, yes. Having been on the anti-hacker side for 10 years professionally, I know it's not "if" but "when" and I take all the reasonable precautions I can. I don't allow smart devices on my network for one thing. No fancy pants Nest thermostats or bluetooth controlled door locks (I facepalmed when I saw those at the store).

Worry, no but I do realize it is out there and will likely get worse into the future.

I do not give that any thought. No sense in worrying about things I have no control over.

Greg Cremia By the number of phishing emails I received in the past I would say yes. Just don't open these emails and you should be okay.

There are always people out there trying to get your stuff or get in. I just do the best that I can. I'm still mad at Yahoo not doing anything about our passwords.

Into the info. no one.
Plant a code. EVERYONE who understands the POWER such potential creates.
However, newer, more sophisticated uses, other than the brute force of a DNS attack, are in play. The ability to create associations has proven to be incredibly valuable in practices of subversion and locking up 'persons of interest.'
This very much like the "Six degrees of Kevin Bacon' game.
