If you remain in a non-renewed status beyond a full renewal period, you will be responsible for paying any additional missed renewal fees if/when you eventually renew your license. In other words, the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR) will require you to “catch up” on all missed fees from the period of time when your license was in a non-renewed status.

Go online & figure it out. I believe there was a years grace period but 3 is too long now.
Heck, you can google it.

You cannot! You may be able to get a brokers license reinstated, but after 3 years, you may be starting over!

I don't know your state law but typically you can't renew a license once it is expired. You have to start all over.

2013 was a long time ago! I'd be concerned about the validity of my own license if my managing broker's had expired!

You'll need to check with the Illinois real estate commission, I think.

Contact the Illinois Real Estate Commission. I would bet since it expired so long ago you will have to start over.

Check with the Illinois Real Estate Statutes for guidance on this issue.

I am unsure of the laws in Illinois. In Oregon, after 2 years in expired status, the Broker must retake all the coursework and test as if they were starting from scratch.

I think that's a good question for the Illinois Department of Real Estate. Info may be online.

Most likely not automatically, not without additional class hours, but ask your local RE authorities.

I would call the Illinois Real Estate Commission for the appropriate answer.
