I prefer no open house however if I have to pick it would be Saturdays in fall and winter due to Sunday football and Saturdays in Spring and Summer

Sunday is the traditional day. Don't know who started it.

During football season, we do not see many on Sunday, and not many show up.

I tried different days and different times. Sunday traditional 2-5 or 1-4 works the best.

Charlie Harrison - I prefer none - most buyers prefer Sunday over Saturday.

Sedona is a tourist city so either day is good. However many are leaving and trying to get home on Sundays so I prefer Friday or Saturday. If Sunday falls on a holiday weekend, then it is a good day because the exit day turns to Monday.

always Sundays in our area.... Saturday is not very busy because that's an errand day; family sports day with the children; tasks at home; etc. Sunday afternoon works best..

It varies, sometimes Saturday and sometimes Sunday. Having said that, I haven't done open house for a long time. Many times homes are sold even before we can do an open house.

Sunday it THE day.
This TRADITION was established in the days when newsprint ruled.
My findings are the majority of non-represented buyers and sellers attending open house do so on a impulse basis.
I think stimulating impulse can occur 7 days a week. However, the days when drivers are not driven by schedules will prove best for open houses.

It may depend on your particular area. In my area, definitely Sunday - I've tried Saturday and it was a dud!!

Sunday afternoons are the most popular time for open houses in our area.

It depends.
On your market.
On you -- if you have an attitude that is "open" to holding these types of events -- YOU increase your likelihood of success.
For me, it's not about bringing in more potential clients but to showcase that particular property. Yes, I have information about the neighborhood and other properties for sale in the area as well as comparable sales but I never lose sight of my primary reason for being there.
Good luck in finding what works best for you and your clients.

Sundays have always been better in our market area. Saturday has too much competition with sports events and errand running.

Depends....I don't typically do Open Houses ever but the exceptions do rise to the occasion and almost every time I'll sell the house. List the house on Thursday afternoon. Broker open on Friday and public open Saturday and Sunday. House is dressed and priced correctly and it works almost every time for me. I always have another team agent with me as it does get busy and there are typically many people flowing through and more often than not without an agent representing them.

Not sure, I suppose Sunday. While it's the tradition, we have alot of open houses on Saturdays, too

Depends on your market and time of year. Sunday open houses during NFL season not that good.

IMO it depends on several factors - the area, traffic patterns, advertising and more - hit or miss either way

I don't do open houses and haven't for years.... one reason being that they don't bring in potential clients as far as I'm concerned. But that being said, I would say Sunday is the day more people expect to see and/or attend open houses.
