My firm has a terrific PR firm, and they do a great job of keeping our name in print with good publicity.  You should be careful in your choice - a bad PR firm can be a disaster.

    Hi, Nancy.  Not sure why you would need a PR firm, unless you are marketing very high-end or luxury properties... or maybe trying to get on with a luxury condo firm, in say, Miami or San Francisco.

For the most part in RE you do not need one.  They come in handy when you need something negative spun in a positive light (that's why large companies have them).  For Realtors, you can typically do all the press releases and marketing yourself (or hire someone internally if you're large enough).

The closest experience I have is with my coach who worked in the TV industry.  Not sure why a PR firm is necessary ??
