If you did yesterday's 20 last night, today's won't count until after the clock restarts at 4:00 pm Pacific time.  

That is Santa's way of telling you that you have been naughty this year.

There has been an issue with the points system since the latest upgrade to the site.  AR staff have a post about it.  Something to do with the clock being on GMT instead of PST.  It should sort itself out.

Many good answers here I am sure....I have never counted points or kept track.  Just like to stop by everyday to hear from agents that I like to hear from.  

Good question, and you have seen from the answers that there are some problems with the clock. Good for you to be posting and commenting regularly.

Points have been sluggish lately

Nathan and Angie Gesner ActiveRain is playing catch up with the points. You should get them today.

I know that they are working on it but it is a bit confusing. I just checked mine and there are days that I got credit for logging in twice but other days I got no points for logging in though the comment points show. I'm sure it will balance out in the end!

The points system currently has some bugs ("features") that were not there in the past.  AR has said that their IT team is looking into it.

Give it time the points show up. They are working on it and Patricia Kennedy gave you the best answer!

There have been some problems with points lately and they have a post on it.  You can read more here.  You aren't the only one that has had problems with this, but it seems to correct itself after a few hours.  I hope that you get your points soon!

I have seen many posts on this lately.  This is the best explaination I have heard.  GMT and PST clock issues. For example, log in points may show up on 12/22 for time that you were on AR the day before until you show activity after 4 PM PST on 12/22, you won't see the points.  Now I get it!

Bob Stewart wrote a post about this ... they are aware of the issues with points ... and they are working on it.  It should all be resolved soon. Very soon.

The clock is off and likely you posted comments late yesterday afternoon or early evening which would have been the start of the new day. Wait until tonight and make comments and you will get  points.

Check the clock. In the east, the ActiveRain day begins at 7 p.m. the night before.

You are corrected on the points and how many you can earn. The problem is that the AR clock is off. The new day now starts at 4PM PST. The staff is working on resolving this issue. The issue has been around for a while. So just remember the new day starts at 5PM our time.

It is a work in progress and sometimes they are awarded late. Keep checking and report it if you are not getting them.

The system has had issues for weeks now. Refer back to a post from AR in the last week as to what's being done.

It'll work itself out. There's a problem with point counting.

Try logging in and check to see if you have log in points,,,then you should get points for blogging and commenting after that point

Late at times more now than ever

Are you sure you didn't comment earlier in the new ActiveRain time period for the day which seems to begin at 7PM Eastern Time? And, thus exceed your 20 comments for the 24 hour period.  (This is supposed to be fixed soon.)

There is a glitch in the system.  Points are rewarded but the ActiveRain clock reflects London time just you'll need some temporary adjustment.  You'll also need to say Cheerio for a few more weeks and drive on the opposite side of the road.
