Oh My... that seems like a great deal Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers .  I have the  Rebel T2i and paid just under $1,000 at Costco, which was a good deal at the time.  But, that's been several years ago and I know prices have changed.  Stil, with all the accessories, it sounds great.  I have been very happy with Rebel.

FYI:  Costco currently has a Rebel T6 bundle for $449, but not with the same accessory package.

Hi Tony & Suzanne - You might want to take a look at the Canon Powershot SX-50 - it's not a true SLR (no mirror), but it does have an optical zoom to 1200 mm!, with image stabilization, is easy to use, takes video and has a ton of useful features. The photo quality is excellent, and it you ever shoot wildlife, the zoom will get you pictures you can't afford on a true DSLR. I recommended it to Gayle Ric-Boxman and Debbie Laity and they both love it.

I am not the one to ask about a "sophisticated" or higher end camera. I prefer the highest end point and shoot.  I hope you get the data you are looking for.

This looks like a lot of equipment for the price.

Do consider the weight of carrying all of this stuff and where you will keep it in your vehicle.

I use a lighter weight camera with a single zoom lens. Canon PowerShot G11, now an older model.

It would depend on what type of photography you intend to take.  Different types of photography requires the appropriate type of equipment.

It is a good deal. However, it is only a good deal based on your intent.

Since you will not be using this camera in your business, that suggests the use will be based on impulse. This ensemble is WAYYYYYY to cumbersome for impulse use. It's a throwback to 1980 when the auditorium was filled 'borg-like' fathers recording their child on stage.

Most of the accessories are never going to be used. especially the tabletop tri-pod.

I can not tell if the wide angle is 18mm or 58mm. The latter useless as a wide angle.

Now, if the intent is to start an 'on-line' retail business and the purpose of this purchase is the create images of what's for sale, that 'could' work. However, as in all photography, illumination will prove to be the Achilles heel.

My recommendation:

Find a multi-format camera with primary intent to be video. (the rebel you identified works) Accessories are: Floor mounted heavy duty tri-pod, 3 led illumination panels, wireless microphone system. An inexpensive post production software package and you will be ready to rock the world.

Again, if the purpose is spontaneous picture taking, go with a smaller, more portable camera.

I use a big camera like the rebel, simply because the display is big enough for me to read AND because actuating the 'shutter' on a small, lightweight camera creates movement and destroys image quality when tri-pod is not used.

Let me assure you, if such a suite of camera tools were under the tree with my name on it, I would do the happy dance, then complete the set with what will be needed. And at 469 including shipping, the value is present.

I use Nikon so I would be the last person to give you advice about Canon.

The lens choice is not optimum for real estate use. Get a 12-24. I would also price out each item separately to see how good of a deal you are really getting. I use a commercial flash unit sine the OEM flash units tend to overheat and not illuminate a room properly with a great deal of vignetting as a result

I have purchased Cannon cameras since early 2000's - started with the 20D - 40D and now the 5 D.

You specifically said you use a Pro for listings.  I personally like a full frame camera like the 5D Mark series.  But it is heavy and more expensive.  My husband shoots my listing pics with that camera.  I help him with the shoot.

The Rebel is a very popular model and with the bundle - how can you go wrong?  I bought a GX 3 because it is great for traveling.

I scrolled down to see if Dick Greenberg had posted anything here. He did recommend the Canon SX50, and it's one of the best purchases I've made. I really enjoy this camera. It's very easy to use, too. The pictures come out great. I think I got the camera, bag, memory card, extra battery and two chargers for just under $300. I also got a tabletop tripod with that package.
