I recently sold a beautiful cabin in the woods. The Buyer intends to use it as a VRBO.  This cabin shows off beautifully in the tour and the photos. I made a blog post about it here.

I believe this cabin would be a great VRBO.  There is another cabin in Potato Patch about 4 lots away that seems to stay booked pretty well. I read the reviews on the one 4 lots away. He got some really good reviews.

Potato Patch is an area of old gold mining claims. Legend says there were nuggets as big as potatoes there. The elevations at Potato Patch are around 7,000 ft.

Postive both from renting them and having VRBO rentals.

My broker uses this company and appears to be happy with it. 

No personal experience with it but people I know who have used VRBO have for the most part been happy. I don't know anyone personally who is using it to rent out property.

I rented a really nice condo in Florida through them!  It was easy and had an awesome time.

I used to manage 70 vacation rentals and had about a dozen of them advertised on VRBO. I also used VRBO to find a great vacation rental on the Oregon coast last year. It's a good service.

I use vrbo to advertise my vacation rental but the reservations are taken through a local management company. Vrbo has been bringing in almost half of our weeks booked but they just got bought by xpeeeedia so i expect their usefulness to diminish as xpeed tries to recoup their investment.

Just bought another water front property to rent and blogging about it, video, the razzle dazzle stand alone works fine and dandy. But will follow the thread cause you never know... I stalk it for FSBO's tired of renting, the fatigue and hassles if not managed right and are fed up to here, want to sell sell sell. Be rid of the sticks and bricks.

I'm not familiar with this service. Most of short rentals go here via westsiderental or airbnb.

No I would not rent our place,, and not so sure I would do VRBO/  I prefer a neutral party in the mix. A

I went to NY and stayed in a VRBO listing that was arranged by a friend.  It was the basement level of a west side apartment building, which wasn't terrible except for no light.  The basement location was a surprise.

I have used VBRO and AirBnB with good results to rent others' properties.

No I have not, I use a rental agency - I have clients that have used it.

The drawback is you still need to have your support mechanisms in place if you are doing it yourself (cleaning crew, repair, walk through trustees etc) - which is why I use an agency that has the support already in place

Yep, we've had some great success with our most recent Oceanside, CA beach VRBO and we're looking for more. Ours is the one in the middle and I just found it on the link you provided in your question. First time I ever saw the listing.
