I don't think you need to use RedX in order to prospect expireds and FSBOs. There are plenty of ways to develop these niche markets

You can work fsbo and expires without either of these. Use that money to market your business and work fsbo and expires the old fashion way.

There is no need for a pricey system. You can get the information on FSBOs & expireds yourself for free. Follow-up can be managed pretty easily without an expensive system.

Nicole Schuery - Vulcan 7 is expensive - however, I have heard some success stories for Vulcan.
Though I prefer working by referrals, thanks to Buffini & Company - not to worry about cold calling at all!

You can find the expired through your MLS and FSBO's through other online services. I wouldn't pay for anyone to tell me where to look.

Nicole Schuery If you are a member of an MLS you don't need to go with these companies. The MLS has the resources available to you. Work with a mentor to teach you the techniques.

Craigslist/Zillow generally have FSBO property address and phone number, look up properties in MLS as you call; no cost.

I know agents that prospect FSBO and expireds without a paid subscription.

As so many others have written. You need to pay very close attention to your ROI on your expenditures, otherwise you will be going broke.

There are much easier and less expensive ways to work those types of leads - doesn't your MLS have an expireds hot sheet?

"Should I?"
What do you have the most of time or money?
FSBO. Funny thing about them is they all have a sign in the yard. You don't need Vulcan or Redx to tell you that.
Expired. Funny thing about them is when you pay Vulcan or Redx you pay to be a member of the dog pack that places the homeowner under siege. You should talk to an Expired and FSBO and make a decision if you want to be one of the dogpack agents they describe.
What you need to have the answer to is directly related to the question these owner have. Don't pay someone to tell you what that question is, that how they dogpack formed, but do your own research.
Then you will know what is best for you?
Money or Time?

I have not used either company. I don't do FSBO's... few and far between in my market. As for expireds, I can pull up that information through mls.

Save your money.
Far too many newer agents sell themselves short and resort to desperate measures like this.
There are much bettter and cheaper ways to get clients.

You don't need these companies to help you prospect FSBO and expired listings. Search for this information on ActiveRain, and you will learn a lot and can develope your own approach.
