No I don't. I find them beneficial to my business and also a good write off!

I dropped all others, except CRS which has proven again and again the value of paying an annual fee to be a part of such a professional organization.

The only designations that matter to me are my CCSS which costs 0, and the CCIM I am one class away from finishing. I already pay 950 year for Institute and Chapter memberships and it won't change after I get pinned. But the referrals, tools and knowledge = worth it.

I have dropped every one except CRS awhile back. If it doesn't get you referrals it doesn't mean much in my opinion.

The ones we are holding, we keep for good reasons

It is never about the letters Tony, just about the learning and other benefits, ROI is always an issue.

I don't do designations.  I have a Broker's license and pay to keep that up, but I've not been impressed with any of the designation courses I took in the past.

I find them all a scam, so no I don't plan on getting any.  If needed, I can easily put some random letters after my name.

I'm not keen on designations, especially if I would have to pay for them. I am an Ecobroker, but that's a certificate that I earned through hard work and study.

I have none to drop ... so my resonse is ... no.

Anything that requires a fee is under my scrutiny even more so for 2017

penny wise and dollar foolish???? no, I never did that.... paid for decades and smiled everytime I wrote a check.... I made a score because of those designations and every other dollar I spent on education....degree courses in building construction... massachusetts builders license course and test...and dues every year there, too!!! I can keep going if you wish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not renewed mine. I believe most clients don't even know the value of the designations. Never had anyone ask me if I was certified or designated on any particular one. However, I would continue the renewal on certain designations if it brought me enrichment resources to my business.

I'll keep my CRS for another year. I still have to pay the dues for 2017.

I dropped 3 last year and retained CRS and Green. I didn't see the others provide me enough value to pay to use them.

I'm with Dorie Dillard - they have proven beneficial to me over and over again so, I'll keep them up.  There is some great information shared within these organizations.  Sellers really do appreciate that, not only do you have the experience under your belt but, you belive in education.

I dropped them long ago. 

Some, like the CPM designation, have value. I dropped that after selling our property management accounts.

I did last year because with 2 that I felt where the value added wasn't there!

I never appended the letters, but did spend the time, never paid a fee after year one. I did keep the one that is known to most of the public. The same one you have appended to your name.

Yes, as I said with Paul's question. I'm not paying that every year. I don't believe it's worth being in that 'club'. Worst of all our customers don't understand what they mean anyway.

I dropped one about a year ago. I didn't see the value. Of course, it was not nationally recognized either. The education for the designation was great, but I didn't see the value of retaining it.
