150 gifts?  Wowza!   I never gave gifts but I did send cards and kept in touch during the year.

I don't give Christmas gifts. That would cost quite a bit for me to do. I send out holiday cards and then my calendars go out in December. 

How about annual CMAs?

150?   Wow!  Fa La La La.  I don't give/exchange gifts with buyers/sellers during Christmas or any holiday.   Have fun shopping - baking - creating.   

I give gifts to my wife and kids.  Clients get other benefits.

Not generally but I doing a little baking this year and sharing with a couple of dozen special clients and vendors.

I don't do gifts for clients at Christmas. I've never felt I needed to be a "gift fairy." And I don't believe my top clients ever felt left out because of it.

Ginger Harper No, I stopped giving gifts when my Doctor and Attorney didn't give me one.

Each year I analyze my list of past clients and determine those that are my advocates.  I give special gifts to them.

I prefer providing gifts that they will value.

Things that will bring to them a smile every time their thought is stimulated.

Personalized and reflective of the value they bring into the lives of others.

Such gifts are the refreshing spring waters to which they will return time and time again when they are been battered, beaten and parched by this gritty world in which we live.

Such gifts begin in January through a discipline of learning to 'see' the value of others and noting that value in a meaningful way. 

This is not a $25 gift card solution.

This IS a method of touching lives in a deep and meaningful way. When they need replenished, they find replenishment in the words from your heart. These words are about the character of the person. Not a thank you or atta boy. It is the product of those who have eyes that see beyond what is. Such a gift may begin with words like:

"Dear Robert and Samantha,

"Monday morning during our telephone call you made a commitment to be at the Beacon Street Shelter with a list of items by 3 PM so they could be used that evening.

"At 2.45 you pulled into the parking lot with everything. 15 minutes early! From the compassion of your heart you brought other items you perceived would relieve those in need, because that is the way of one whose heart is centered on servitude.

This is the gift that will NEVER stop giving. 

This for many will appear to be a difficult gift, too difficult to deliver to 150 people. If ones heart is centered on acknowledging the good they see in others, and compile the gift all year long, the 'obligation' imposed in December becomes a much different affair. 

Let me be clear, this is actually THE gift you give to the same person twice.

And you can SEE why.

Invest a little more time.
