I recently had a closing with some great people I met at an Open House before I had my knee surgery!  That would be about three years.  But they were not front-burner except for the last couple of months.

About one to one and half years. We did long escrows subject to city approvals of plans and community. Then, we closed

I have worked with some buyers a couple of years. That is the longest that actually closed.

I've had a couple of relocations that were in excess of 2 years before they finally bought, closed and moved

I've had people call me that have been receiving updated home leads for years as well as my yearly magnetic refrigerator calendar and when they call me it's makes me happy.  I am thinking of a client I met years ago (over 10 years) and they finally found a house they wanted to buy and then sold their home with me... So it was a double payback!  Good News!

Five years! Two Clients, different set of years, but both are now real estate agents working for me and rocking it!

First contact to signed documents and a lot of heartbreak in between - 8 weeks. We signed our lease just today!!! I love your question!

Sitting down? 4 Years!

1 year. I am proud to say that I work with a LO that works with people for years AND then calls me when they can finally buy.  He's a great gut with evidently a great drip campaign.

I got an application for a purchase, but he couldn't find the right house. He gave up, and 8 years later, he called me and was ready to look again and found one. He kept my business card for eight years!! Who does that???

Years -- not sure how many.   

4 years but, over that period of time, we probably saw less than 7 or 8 homes!  Family and job issues kept them from their move over and over again!  They were lovely people so, I didn't mind keeping them in my pipeline for so long!

I am not much of a followuper, generally put myself out there and they call when they are ready or when someone they know suggests that they call me.

In regards to a Seller, it was 8 months, though I can't say yet for a Buyer, as we have one that could go on and on . . .  Roger has worked with Buyers for a few years, as our niche is an age-restricted community, meaning a good percentage are snowbirds, so maybe this is not unusual here John Meussner. 

Four years.  Young couple who sent me four buyers before they were ready & able to buy.  This couple needed to get permanent jobs & reduce credit obligations

no thanks....I focused on listings.... kept in touch once a month until the people pulled the trigger and listed.... 

no buyers... no thanks....

Couple of years.

7 years.  Resulted in 4 transactions.  He was active duty Navy and our showing appointments were at shore leave times only.

Almost three years. It was worth it in the end because they ended up buying a home that was more than twice what they had originally planned to spend. 

I believe my record is around 3.5 years.

Not counting my neighbors...  a year or two.

A couple weeks.

one buyer was over a year.

18 months with a FSBO. He was so overpriced and in no hurry! It beccame a game. Then I got it listed and sold in under a week! We became friends.

6 Years.

1 year or so I think

I've stayed in touch with people for years before closing...  If we don't stay in contact they WILL go with someone else.

Attempting to close on a house we've had listed since 2015 and under contract for 6 months right now. Not sure if it's a record, but it sure feels like it is.

About 5 years... they were looking for a very specific/unique property.

I have not tracked this information.

A couple of years..I refer to it as a miracle!
