It is either how much of a sway is built in for wind or it is a compound that plumbers use to sweat pipes

When something is in motion between two states.  You can harnes it with a special "flux capacitor" though.

Somtimes it is that stuff that you put on the copper pipes before soldering, other times it is a component in time machines.

We do a lot of fluxing in real estate.

Used when soldering.

"Ground control to Major Tom..." "Your, Flux capaciter is out of synchro, please adjust accordingly"

In soldering join a dissimilar materials together one applies flux to reduce oxidation process leading to breakage.  I think you are referring to Cu pipes.

In plumbing flux is used for soldering. In real estate in flux is what many buyers are who can not make up their mind.
