ROFL...love this story.  I wouldn't mess with that woman, either, but given we are on acreage with no chance of hitting a live target, yeah, I would definitely take a shot at it.  More interesting than a paper target.

Shotguns can make quite a statement, should have been more selective in where she downed it though, tractor tires are very expensive.

So she just happen to have her shot gun out did she.  Too funny.  Open fields this would not be a problem.  Closer to city with more neighbors would be a bit of a problem.  Mark

What she may fail to realize is that IF she missed the drone, the bullets would go somewhere...and thankfully no one was hurt.  Sounds like she knew what she was doing, but others perhaps more emotionally and reactive than responsibly reactive...

Home again, home again...

The concern is "what goes up, must come down".

When firing a projectile into the air in a residential neighbourhood, if you miss the drone, it's going to come down somewhere... and hopefully, it doesn't come down and damage someone's property, or worse, a resident or their loved-ones.

I probably would not but I don't blame her for doing what she did. Would be interesting to hear Robert Duvall's take on it. The best part to me is her only regret is the flat tires on her truck from the debris, too funny.

Hi Jeff - I did a little research on that, and while it is an invasion of airspace, it would fall under federal law and be subject to prosecution. Not recommended!
