There was a recent webinar on Facebook ads - check under Resources or AR Univeristy. Anita Clark  is very knowledgeable about FB ads. 

Jim and Suzie -- you have come to the right place.   There are quite a few who have effectively used Facebook for marketing including Noah Seidenberg .   In addition to Noah you may also want to follow Anita Clark who has a Facebook Friday group.   

Facebook offers some great free courses in their creative section and also their small business section. You can do a search for it in FB. 

I learned from taking online courses and then doing it over and over and over again until now I am pretty good at it. 

I just did some video ad testing and those are your best bang for your buck right now. I got video views for one penny each view this last time I ran an ad. I also have another video ad for 8 cents a view. Videos, the shorter the better for better rankings on FB and also for a higher relevance score as FB grades you on how long people watch the video. 

The AR webinar is dated but it will still give you some information but those ads they show you are not producing well because they were saturated.

You have some excellent suggestions from the group.  I would add that make sure your target market is a Facebook user.  A

Stop fumbling, hire someone and go sell real estate - either that or learn how to do it yourself

Me, I'm too busy to do it myself - I sell real estate afor a living I'm not a webmaster or programmer

Google it, better yet go on You tube, there are step by step instructions.

Facebook will have instructions in their help section.  You can also Bing, Yahoo!, Google or use another of your favourite search engines or even look at videos on YouTube.

Make sure you are looking at current information since Facebook continuously changes their offerings and user interface.

Check AR posts via ''search'' and Utube. The information is there and it is not that complicated. There are also plenty service providers who will do it for you. 

I use Mr. Google for just about everything.  I am told that FB has lots of resources and videos on how to .... have you checked out the resources on FB?

See Jeff Dowler 's response. I think in many ways, FB has adopted the Apple mode of instruction, i.e., 'Find out for Yourself'.

Type any question into the AR search box and you will be happy with the results.  the is also the University which offers classes on this subject if I am correct.  

It takes a bit of work but fb can be very focused and profitable without the adds.

Check ActiveRain University. There was recently a webinar held on this topic. I bet there's some useful information there. 

Curaytor.com is very good.

There are many short webinars that will help but I don't know where they can be located. I've taken them. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
