There are a lot of Scripts behind the original post.  I cannot get any of the links to work in the original post, unless I allow those scripts. 

    That may be why (at least for me) the video doesn't play, the links don't work.  That would carry through to the reblog.

Lately, there have been some ants in the works on ActiveRain.  Bu they seem to be on top of things.

That's odd, I would have thought they would work.

You may need to go back tot he original blog for that. I notice hyperlinks do not re-blog well, nor do tagged names.

Most of his links to sites I have blocked so I am unable to use the links either

I use firefox with script blocker - keeps me from getting virus, malware as well as redirection to sites

I usualy have no problem with links and videos on reblogs. 

It should work the same, are the links all working in the original post?

IN general, yes, they work.  Bur, it is possible there is a glitch in the system.

I've not noticed any issues like that in the past, but I'm not sure how many videos or links I've seen in reblogged content.

I have created multiple web sites to link when writing blogs. All links point to me.

Not to be too tecnical but without wading through myself it *sounds* like the links did carry thtough and the most likely cause if the security settings of the computer they are being accessed from.  Does not sound like a problem with ActiveRain at all, but personally I would not recommend changing the security settings on your computer either.
