I have had a presentation and liked it. The monthly fee is something I didn't want to add at the time but if you can get it for free, take it and see if it enhances your business.

If it is a free benefit, go for it. I never tried it, but I remember AR once had a webinar on it.

Jan,
I still believe that all the bells and whistles cannot replaced face to face. If they give you more time for face time, then I would analyze it. Just reporting what I see is working with the top tier agents. A

I used it when part of a team that paid for it. It's a great platform, very easy to respond to and track leads.

We have boomtown in our office - it's expensive and if you pay the fee it's a ppc site - if you're getting it for free make sure you get the leads for free as well

No experience. Anything third party I generally stay away from.
Be careful of the hook. Free now ... but what will it cost when the free is no longer free.

I have heard good things, and free sounds like a good price, make good use of it.

Jan Green - well, if it is FREE, why not go for it? Just make sure you have support to handle excessive leads - many of them will be Donald Duck and Micky Mouse!
Good Luck.

It seems to work, but can get very expensive - if it's free and it generates leads, who can turn that down?
2,684,769
If it's Free, give it a try and let us know how it works out.
With respect, if they require a credit or debit card to register, be sure to use a throw-away Visa card and zero it out ASAP. Because so many companies will start charging you after the Free Trial period runs out, and you have to call and beg and plead to get them to stop charging you.

I looked at it briefly once, but it didn't fit my business at the time. If you can get it for free, I'd jump on it though and see what you can get out of it. "Free.99" is my favorite price to test out a service.

Jan Green I would go for it if it's free and you get the leads directly. It's exposure. On line leads are typically searching on many platforms and some have agents already. I have talked to agents who swear by Boom town and other platforms such as this. I have not personally used this but given the opportunity for free I would give it a try. It's expensive and on line platforms that I would invest in would need to have a better return. The ones that I have used in the past were just money drainers with no proven results. Will be interested in hearing how it goes for you.

My office also gives us Boomtown for free. Your success depends on how hard you work at it. I have gotten sales from it -- one was over $500K, but mostly they are at the low end.

Looks like you're going to be the AR test subject :)
Try it and let us know!

not familiar with it....but if it's to generate leads, learn to market to make your own phone ring...those are the best leads!!!

If its free what do you have to loose. Try and see if it works for you.

I know it's expensive. If you are getting it for free, why not? But is it free in perpetuity?
