When it comes to "reblog" as the original author, I can select yes or no. In this regard, I'm in control. So are you. And everyone else.

I don't. In fact, I'm honored. Roy Kelley reblogged one of my posts just this morning and I was absolutely delighted.

I view reblog as a compliment to the author. If you don't want your post reblogged uncheck the box before you post it.

If it is done using the AR reblog button, it is acceptable.

Getting upset over this would be like getting upset everytime someone gives you a compliment.

As long as they use the "reblog" button provided by AR, I'm just fine with it. It's when they copy and paste my content, without my permission, that I "mind".

Not as long as it's done the way AR does it and credit is given. If the post were put on another site with no credit given...that would upset me.

Everyone is welcome to reblog any post. Otherwise, I'd choose ''no reblog''.

I love that people re-blog my posts as it means I connected with someone and get to be exposed to their peeps! I do not advocate plagiarism though-needs to be a credited re-blog or quote.

It depends on what kind of blog and who is rewriting your blog. I wrote a blog about a local neighborhood subdivision awhile ago. I was browsing the internet and noticed that an agent reblog my blog. I was not happy to see my blog embedded on that real estate agent website with my pictures. I will say no to reblogging neighborhoods or subdivisions blogs.

Harry F. D'Elia - I almost always give permission to re-blog my post. Nothing wrong in spreading the word, correct?

I love ActiveRainers re-blogging my blog posts. What a huge compliment that is. First, I am blessed that someone read my post. They felt if worthy enough to be re-blogged. What can get better than that in the blogging world outside of a prospect calling you because they read your blog?

As with anything I write, I have zero problems with people reprinting the material, however, I want credit for my work and the information needs to be attributed to me. I only get super pissy when the information is reprinted and then someone else puts their name on it as if they wrote it. Them's fighting words, pal!!
Otherwise, my information is available for repost. Hopefully, someone asks permission first, but that is not always the case.

I don't mind, but since I can't post to an external blog I prefer my posts to stay internally - I have another outlet for external posts

If I publish it as "Public" they can reblog it all day long. "Members only" is another story.
