I have driven a couple of hundred miles. It has been so worth it to see you and others face to face. This is a people business!

I went to CT and NY last year, and CO NM & AZ the year before.

I am delighted that we have guests coming from Indiana tomorrow.

I would at least go from Elkhart, IN to Evanston, IL....No, make that, Brookfield, WI.....No. Make that Stevens Point, WI. for starters.Who knows where I may drop in!

I might island hop here in Hawaii. But anywhere on Kauai I'll be there!

It would depend on my schedule and how much advance notice I had about a meetup.

Wow!! Awesome!! It's hard for me to get away but I'm sure I could make it happen within a couple of hours.

200 miles.

One hour drive one way the most ( my last one was 50 min.), but we had few Rainers who drove two hours one way. So, it is doable. 

Only within an hour or so drive unless another location is a place I need or want to be.

Alan May - I have been to CT couple of times - about 100 miles from where I am.

Most meet up I host are about 50 miles from where I am to accommodate more members.

And this time, I am hosting a meet up in San Diego/LA area - about 3,000+ miles away from where I am....

Good question Alan. I would be willing travel out of state to connect with folks I've never met before. In state, maybe a couple of hours. I'd be willing to go to the West side of the state...I think that's 4 hours, but it would have to be a for an over night stay!

Today was my first meet-up and I drove about 50 miles, but I would definitely drive more than that if it was a meet-up I wanted to attend.  If I was traveling and had an opportunity to meet-up with a few people at my final destimation I would do that as well.  It was really nice meeting you today Alan May -- our sports conversation was the Bomb!  Go Brett Favre!  Oops, I couldn't help myself!

We often drive an hour plus for a meet-up.  It just the way it is in Southern California.  If we were in the vicinity while on a biz trip, I would drive to a meet-up in another state.  We have met many rainers that way, and each time it was a delight. A

Probably 1 1/2 hrs.  We drove last week to NJ.  I think it was about 1:15 mins.  And, a while back drove to Atlantic City for Rain Camp.  I think that was 2.5 hrs...although Dagny got lost so it took more like 3 hrs.

A few years ago, I went to the 14 Carrot Cafe meetup in Seattle and got to meet Charlie Buell and Rene Fabre, among others.  What a great time.  I was out there for Thanksgiving with my family and missed the DC area meetup.

Glad to hear a good time was had by all!  I think my closest meet-up was over 4 hours away a few years ago.  I'll continue to connect digitally

Wisconsin, & Indiana are not far away from Evanston.

I would probably drive a couple of hours.

Depends on what else is going on, but generally not more than an hour.

I would drive 3 hours or maybe longer if I planned it right.

I have traveled three hours. I would go further. If I had the time to travel, I would go anywhere for a meetup. 

Not very far when I', busy.  But, hope to go real far when I start my retirement.

It would depend on how cute he was and whether I thought my husband might find out. Oh, wait . . .

I'm definitely not that good!!!  no surprise there.... I'll go a few towns away....

If I was travelling and there was an ActiveRain MeetUp, I would certianly make an attempt.  With the hours I spent travelling in Southern California traffic this week to attend ours I might have been to take a trip to O'Hare.

Diana Dahlberg from the Kenosha WI area was a treat.

Special Kudos to Larry and Evelyn (the hugger) Johnston from Elkhart IN for coming from the Brookfield WI meet-up the evening before and moving on to the Stevens Point WI meet-up on Saturday!

If I had a horse, I would saddle up and do a half a days ride no problem

We drove about 75 minutes to a meetup last week. Might go a bit farther.

We would anywhere between Tallahassee and Pensacola - unless we're down at our Clearwater place - so that's between 2 and 5 hours LOL

We'd do 2 hours since there isn't anything closer

That was a successful meetup. I have not be to any.

Not very far except for a special occasion. I did not go to the DC MeetUp because I did not want to face the city traffic.

3-4 hours driving time.
