Sunday afternoons.... Saturdays are usually dedicated to sporting activities for the kids; grocery shopping and other errands that need to be done....

Weekends after 1pm

We've tried mid week Open Houses to no avail. The only time buyers show up here is Sundays from 1-4.

Sat & Sun 11 to 3 is peak. I will adjust accordingly to accomodate. Why? People dont like to be rushed (a.m.) & they want to get home (p.m.)

Thursday 4-7pm. captures commuters heading home from work.

Sunday afternoon is the most popular time in our area. Traditions.

When and if I do one, Sunday 1- 4 is the most popular time in this area. 1-3 and 2- 4 is also an option.

In Lexington, you stick out like a sore thumb if you do anything other than Sunday 2-4. My favorite day/time is actually Saturday (1-3) because people are out and about running errands already and they always stop by.

The most common times in my area is 2 pm - 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

When I use to do them typically Sundays from 2-4, except during football season I would host them on Saturdays.

My favorite time is never... don't do open houses and haven't for more years than I can count.

I tried to have open houses different days and different times of the day, but seems the most visitors you get during ''traditional'' hours when everyone else have their public open houses: 2-5pm on Sunday.

Never, because I'd rather watch grass grow. When I need to hold one it is Sunday from 1 - 4PM.  Just seems to be the highest and most successful time.

Thursday evenings 4-6 getting viewers during their commute & Sunday afternoon 2-4 giving people time to stop after other  activities.

Don't love Open Houses. Experimented with Saturdays, but Sundays work better and results are better if it's for four hours e.g. 12-4.

There is no time of day that is good for an open house for me. I rarely host open houses.  Not a fan of them. 

I like the traditional weekends from 1-4 pm, but I also switch it up and hold a Twilight Open House serving wine & appetizers. I find you get more local people/neighbors in the evening, but we are a resort/vacation community and they have lots of friends that would love to be owners.

The 1990's, because it was still relevant to do so back then.

When I do them, Sunday afternoons, when most of the others are held.

Sunday afternoon has always been the norm here... with an occasional Thursday evening.  

When snowbirds are in town I do Open Houses 6 days a week, as older folks don't have to wait for weekends because of a way more flexible schedule.  When snowbirds are not in town, I do Open Houses 2 days a week, and they are strictly on weekends, as there isn't enough traffic on weekdays, with Sunday being 'the best day' between the two Donald Kolenda.  It is different in a regular family community, compared to an age-restricted community, which is our niche. 

I don't do them

Tradition says Sunday after church.  

I don't do Opens anymore.

Sunday afternoon from 1 to 3 is a favorite time, but I prefer to avoid them if possible!

I rarely do them any more, only my new construction homes.

Donald Kolenda - I have had a great success with 11-1 on Sunday. 

More guests at this time - so why not?

1-4 Sunday afternoon.  It's sort of customary around here.

Open houses don't work in my market. I haven't held one for over six years. 

Saturday 12 to 3, more people out and about doing those times.

Sunday from 1-4.  That's the official time out here.

1-4 PM weekend.

Each market is different.  And so is each agent.

I have done weekend open houses sometimes for two hours or as long as five.   I

n addition, I have held broker's caravan and invited the public(and treat as an open house).   So many different variables and attitudes when it comes to these events.   

Saturday, All Day, or at least all afternoon.
