I use Animoto....anything else is well beyond my paygrade..... I use Animoto through Realbird....I LOVE REALBIRD.... more great direction from Nestor & Katerina Gasset (Katerina)...

There is so much really bad video out there.  When I used the kind of format you're talking about, the feedback was pretty negative.  I think that once the format that Redfin uses gets the navigation bugs ironed out, it will be the way to go.

Sounds like you are asking about a photo slideshow, maybe?  I met a guy at an IEEE networking event a few months ago (yes I still get my nerd on) who works at Animoto.com  It sounds like what they do is similar to what you are looking for.

Good question John, I am sure we will all learn something here.

I use still shots and create the videos: 

1. Right in YouTube Creator, free and never have to worry about copyright slaps on your music. We add text to each image. 

2. I also use iPhoto slide shows, well, now Apple just calls it Photos. But the slide shows are fun to make with this free app. 

3. Realbird - as Barbara Todaro suggested. My market does not like the fast pace of animoto so we like to create our own for our baby boomers.

I've hired out for that in the past. It did not work out real well. Whatever I do now, I do myself. I use Realbird for listings ... love it.

I think it would make sense to hire a professional for this, epsecially if it's something you are going to use over and over as part of your marketing. Animoto works well for just a slideshow with music and it's easy to use

Maybe realbird or animoto.

    Unless you are good with graphics and animation, consider hiring a professional.
