I can always tell the municipalities that charge their citizens too much for trash disposal by the amount of crap dumped in the forests nearby.

It would be more effective for the municipality to provide a place for people to dump stuff than to put up signs that will get ignored and landowners who will be the victims of dumpers.

why do people do that type of thing.... I hate looking at it...

I wouldn't want that near my home. Posting the sign becomes an invitation to dump to some.

     The landfill taxes in this county are prohibitive.  People are always looking for a place to throw away that old sofa, a set of tires, a big screen TV, or anything else that won't fit in the garbage can.

It is shameful. I see more and more trash all around. People who no longer want their stuff just put it on the curb with a free sign.  Well, it's garbage ... what would anyone want it?

The neighbors should pitch in and clean it up. Call the city to clean it up.

Wherever humans traipse I've found garbage and that's including some really remote places. Alcohol appears to be a suspect. Here via Kathy.

the sign wasnt in chineese and arab and russian, so our neighbors didnt understand it. if you have to make signs in multiple languages..there is a problem right there

Only way to stop that is hidden wildlife cameras and catch them in the act.

I see this all to often in many areas where you would have never seen this in the past. It's kinda sad but I'm thinking its just the tip of the iceberg what with so many neighborhoods beeing inundated with so many multiple tenants per residence.
