I have started using it on my messages for my iphone, but not on active rain comments.  It does get annoying when the message does not appear as what you said!!!  Yes, I proof read, but sometimes after the fact.

Since I have a Southern accent those programs do not always understand me and rather than get embarrassed by an incorrect word I choose to not use them.

No, keyboard only.  If anything requires a response more than a sentence or two, I don't do it until I get to a keyboard.  AR, email, etc.

I let my fingers do the walking on the keyboard. I type very fast.   As for proofing ... I do that as I type.

About half the time I use voice to text and I always proofread.

No, I just type on my laptop. I do use voice to text for phone and for to do/buy lists.

When I am out in the woods I do this on my phone, when I am near a real wifi connection, I prefer to type.

No, I would not even consider it.  I have done voice to text messages and been very embarrased.

Not tried it yet but I do try and proof everything ..but of course sometimes something slips through. I always appreciate it if I do that a Rainer emails me privately. Its good to look out for each other.

ActiveRain. Just for the fun of it, I'm using it right now to respond to your question. Overall it does work; however, I did have to do some editing to my response. Also, Dragon NaturallySpeaking doesn't open up directly in the ActiveRain answer window. I had to record this in an outside box and then transfer over to the ActiveRain window. It is taken me more time to speak my response than it would have to type it.

I have used it in MSWord for letters and it does do a good job.

My editor who does my books has sharpened me to be aware when posting

No, I have not used 'voice-to-text' on AR, and always proof read Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, Broker, Tacoma Washington.  And that being said, there are still times when I notice an off word or spelling, after the fact - HA!  It can be so much easier to catch someone else's typo, than my own.
