I can remember one bank owned home, 38 years ago, that I spent 2 hours at that home...it was not finished and did not have a cerificate of occupancy...pain in the A$$

Sometimes too long - not sure how long exactly but I do notice, first timers take forever!

90 minutes twice, but it was a large waterfront home. Seller was a bank and the negotiator was a jerk. He blew the deal and later sold it for $600,000 less. Lost his job over the deal!

2 hours 15 minutes. An estate with big home, air plane hangers and buildings. They were not slow...there was just so much to see,
It was 97 degrees outside and there was no A/C on. Everyone one was drenced with sweat within 10 minutes of looking. It was more than miserably hot.
Lucky for everyone, we are now under contract for that property. The most "complicated" and outstanding piece of property I have sold.

Outside of an inspection or an open house event, I recall spending two hours at two different properties with two different buyers. Both never bought. Lessons we learn, right?

A couple of hours, but after they were able to secure a signed contract. Placing furniture, absorbing the views, etc. Who am I to judge?

One hour plus. That's I why I bring the laptop and a wireless hotspot... I can get other work accomplished while the Buyer dawdles.

An hour as they were trying to decide where to place their furniture. BTW, they didn't buy it as they said they didn't like the house!

One Show for ONE house.
Not more than 90 minutes. It was a horse ranch. Foruneately, the seller provided ATVs that were a hit. The buyer DID make an offer. The second look is not added to the total.

Not counting driving time, about 1 hour in the house

Some first time buyers take time during first showings. But If we are on schedule, I try not to stay in any house more that 30 minutes.

Kathleen - I have shown a ton of homes, and I think the longest time I have ever spent at one home is about 45 minutes. I have not shown many luxury homes, or properties on large acreage.

Kathleen Daniels - I remeber being with a client for an hour at a huge home. Though I had to let them know we can visit the home next time if we really want to go ahead with it.
Surprise was - they did not like the home! (May be, because we were there for long time...)

Too long Kathleen, we all get stuck with tire kickers and people who scratch their head and can't make up their mind (at our expense).

Two hours is about my max. We sat down as it was staged and worked out all details of the offer.

Hi Kathleen - We had some buyers who loved looking at homes, and always spent an hour minimum in a house, even if they hated it. They once asked the seller to move his car out of the garage so they could see if their pickup fit, and the home was a complete mismatch they ahd no intention of buying. They finally bought something, but they left us exhausted and drained.

Kathleen while showing a horse property that was massive we spent probably 2 hours at the home - and about 30 minutes on the deck overlooking the gorgeous setting. Then we wrote it up.

Tops is probably 1.5 hours. I didn't like it but some people just have to take their time. Suggest ordering pizza & they might hurry up .

I once had a guy spend over a month coming back daily to look at a lot that we had for sale. By the time he was ready I had long since given up on him, and my wife was about ready to call the sheriff. But he bought for full price, and then came back a year later and bought a 10 acre lot.

I'm guessing it was a little over an hour, though it seemed like much longer.

Probably an hour, but it involved some acreage and the buyer was serious about buying it, so we walked the property.
