I think they should focus on mls feeds going to Z instead of their Realtor.com which are owned by NAR. Realtor.com is such an awful site.

If the article is true then I would suspect NAR and some of its leaders are probably profiting from the situation, why would they want to change it.

I thought TILA/RESPA and the 3 day cooling off period solved these?  That's what we were promised with these useless regs.

NAR should be lobbying to make themselves relevant to their members.

It is not just lenders ... there are more than too many untrained and unethical agents in the real estate business ... the standards across the board need much improvement. 

What Kenneth J. Jones said.  By "unregulated lenders" are they referring to private funding or owner financing?  I can't imagine any unregulated lenders otherwise.

NAR can help us all, but the NMLS under the CFPB is in control, and therre are so many regulations and controls; we are now seeing the end result with delays ion closings and ridiculous lender and underwriter demands.

I have to agree about less government interaction. We have enough in this country.

Why is it NAR's problem there are rogue lenders? I'm sure the CFPB was created for that.

If you wait a few months, the banks will all be deregulated again....we'll see the return of interest only programs; no doc programs and if one has a name and pulse, they'll own a home for awhile!!!

There are a multitude of things the NAR should be doing.

NAR is a well known lobbyist in DC.
