Jackie,
I am not sure what you are asking here. In order to be noticed in the community, you have to read other people's blogs and comment on them, and most of us take the time to comment back. Otherwise, it is easy to go unnoticed. My other suggestion is to write something that is of interest to many. Post about unusual aspect of your community is one example. Start following people that you like...A

At least 300 to 500 words and good content. I suggest watching the Bob Stewart blogging webinar.

If you want member comments you need to be an active member. Comment on other member's posts and return comments by commenting on that person's post when they comment on one of yours. It's a give and take relationship. But get yourself out there. Just go out and read and read and read other blog posts and leave comments. You will get comments in return. Welcome to AR.

Hi Jackie,
Welcome to ActiveRain blogging. Your first blog WILL definitely get noticed because we have a FirstTimers notification area. It is the blogs from here on out that may or may not get noticed.
That said, don't worry too much about getting noticed by us, as members of ActiveRain. You should be more concerned about getting noticed by your target client audience. To do that you need to write to them. You need to use key words your target audience will be searching for info. It take time to build up your search engine rankings, so write regularly (as much as possible) and be patient while your archives is expanding.
One more thing, just because you are not getting comments doesn't mean it isn't being read. It is my experience the general public does not leave comments. They're just looking for information. If you're writing valuable content, they will read... and, ultimately, call you when they need your services.
Good luck!

Your first post will be noticed because it shows up in the First Timers blog roll. It will be commented on!
Future posts will get attention based on the subject matter, writing style, etc. If you comment on a lot of other posts, you will get more people who will follow you and comment on your future posts.
Best wishes with your blogging!

Jackie Mazurowski I have noticed that those that are most successful here (much more successful than me) have a good balance between their everyday, marketing-type posts (listings, market reports, etc.) and their posts that fill a niche, transmit accessible knowledge, etc.
You're a Realtor, so write the posts that you need to grow your business. But to network and expand influence here you also need to write something other successful people want to read.
I would also recommend the Rainmaker account if you want to reach the public with your posts. As of now only other AR members will see your work. If that works for your goals, then stick with it. Just make sure you have the right account for what you want to do!

By whom do you want to be noticed. By AR members, then see Debbie Laity's comment. By the public, then put out content for public consumption and spread across various social media sites.

If you start commenting a lot, people will start to notice you and go back to check out your posts. Catchy titles help!

Debbie Laity has some good answers but don't worry, many people read and just don't comment and the public almost never comments.

First step is to be a paid subscriber to ActiveRain (a Rainmaker). Otherwise, your posts are only seen by other ActiveRain Members, they do not get indexed by Google and other search engines.
Second step is to share your blog posts to your own websites and social media sites. You can use the share buttons; some people prefer to do it manually.
Third step is to optimize your blog posts just like you would for SEO. Keywords and good content. Graphics, images, or photos. 300+ words. Etc.
Fourth step is to participate heavily on ActiveRain. If you surf this site regularly, you will notice "the Cool Kids" who are frequently on the home page, they are here on the Q&A board, they comment on lots of posts, they strike up conversations with others on ActiveRain. Go and do likewise!

Hi Jackie- I just went to your post and read it. Congratulations on your first post and thank you for the information on Voxer. The best way is to do as you did and write good posts, whether they're about real estate or any other subject.
The title is important to catch our eye. And, comment on the posts of others. It's a good way of saying "Hi..I'm here."
Don't forget to take advantage of the free classes here on blogging. Very helpful!!
Next, you can try placing your post in some of the groups here. Make sure you read about the groups guidelines first. But...I'd recommend Bananatude.

"Getting noticed" is not an instantaneous result of blogging. It requires continual sustained effort over a long time.

You have some good tips here from other members. Another thing is write an eye-catching subject line.

Is it the Voxer one? Questions like this can help . I'm looking at it now. In general, for me, the subject line has to be enticing. Honestly, I wouldn't have opened up something on Voxer. I've recently read and commented on ones regarding Snapchat, Brexit, companion animal laws and one related to a series of questions that have been asked here.

Hi Jackie -- I just commented on your post ---- it looks like you are getting noticed. Getting noticed may not happen overnight. You will need to be consistent while participating via comments, questions/answers and posting your own content. Good luck.

Upgrade your membership to Rainmaker so your posts will be available by the public. I am drawn to catchy titles and posts that sound interesting, even if they aren't real estate related.

Depends on who you want to see it, social media sharing gets it noticed by more people and search engines. Social interaction in the rain gets it noticed here on AR.
Hanging balloons on the sign does not seem to work with either audience for me.
